Just got back from having a Gemini/V Beam treatment on my face (for broken caps). Now I've got parallel rows of bumps that resemble hives without the redness, or the lumpy, ripply aftermath of teenage acne.
Icing is recommended post-procedure, which I am doing, but I wonder if my Baby Q would be helpful in taking down the swelling.
Thanks in advance for any advice! |

It definitely will help, as will emu or tamanu oil. |

Thank you, Beth! (There are times in my life when, mulling over a problem, a seemingly really great solution pops into my head. Knowing myself as I do, I force myself to think about it, argue it several ways and then usually go ahead and do it anyway 'cause there's nobody to say yay or nay. It pains me to admit that my brain sometimes does not fire on all pistons during the logic phase of the argument and I've ended up making the problem worse. I wasn't keen on having my face blow up like a giant balloon, so I very much appreciate your answer.) |

Beth, I am so impressed -- last night's combination of emu oil and Baby Q did a great job on the swelling! No ridges or bumps this morning at all, just smooth skin. Looks like a few more laser sessions for the larger/deep red areas will be required, so I'll know what to do next time. |

Good for you...that's great news! (well, except that you'll need more treatments ) |
