Hi was wondering if anyone on here uses the Devita Body Block? I see it say it has an SPF 30 although it's not rated. I'm wondering if you think it protects good? I'm Leary about ordering because the SPF is not rated. Thanks so much! |

Well I purchased this product! I've only used it for a couple of days. This product goes on great! No heavy white mess like regular sunscreen. I just hope it protects! |

Yes, I've been using it for about 6 months. I alternate it with my Mexitan. I like it because it doesn't leave any whitish caste like the Mexitan, and it is very rich and moisturizing. For some reason, I actually feel more protected when I use the Mexitan but I think it is because I can see the coating of the sunscreen. Regardless, I have not had any "new" hyperpigmentation since I began using it. It gets a thumbs up from me. |

Yes I use it! It's a better value than the Solar Moisturizer SPF30 that comes in the jar for facial use, and has the same ingredients. It's a nice moisturizer too - I use it under makeup or when I'm just staying inside. When I go outside to work I use Avene Emulsion SPF50+.
*****Should I be concerned about photostability in a purely physical SS like this that uses zinc oxide as the SS agent??****** |

As far as I'm aware zinc oxide is completely photostable. Photostability is an issue with the chemical sunblocking agent avobenzone. |

Yep, I also use the Devita Body Block for my face. It's the best physical sunscreen I've used to date!! |

Thank you for the replies! I was worried about using this product because it doesn't feel like a regular sunscreen. I'm used to having a greasy Blue Lizard face! LOL |

Which Mexitan sunscreen do you use? I came across their website before and it looks like great stuff! |

This is probably my favorite product ever. In terms of both price and quality, it's an all around winner. I wrote a review of it in the product reviews section. |
