Has anyone had any problems with this product causing the skin to burn on application (sting, not turn red) and puffiness in the morning?
I received a gift pot of it from EDS. Since I just finished my Dermalastyl (which didn't work for me), I began to use this in the morning, with my Retin-A .05% at night. It stung. I stopped the Retin-A at night, and used this instead and woke up with the puffiest undereyes that I have ever experienced. I don't see any overtly strong ingredients. Anyone? |

Have you used glycolic acid in the eye area before? It may be that acid making you feel the sting? |

I have used AHAs there, but not glycolic... perhaps this is what is causing the puffiness. |

I have a couple of pots sitting around. The eye cream burned my eyes..the stinging wouldn't stop. I thought it would be temporary. The corners of my eyes were very red. I don't have sensitive skin (at all) but this stuff was too strong..even for me. |

Hi Marina, this is the sort of reaction I had, and I thought I had the hide of a rhinocerus. Burning skin, stinging eyes, and morning puffiness. I'm a little leery of using it again although it is getting pretty good reviews. Also, my skin looks extremely lined. I'm not sure why this is (drying perhaps?) |

I had to stop using it, I guess the glycolic acid is too strong. The rep told me to use it once a day (I was) of very 2 days to build up tolerance but the stinging & puffiness just wasn't worth the bother. There are lots of eye creams out there (OK I haven't found my HG yet) that work without the irritation. I'm looking at skinmedica night repair. Very pricey, but you only use it at night. The reviews on MUA on great and, at my age, I don't have a lot f time to fool around. During the day, I use Isomers 3000 for eyes (works better than PSF cranberry gel) with any eye cream on top. |

Marina, thanks. I am very disappointed with eye products in general. I am going to carry on with the Retin-A and also try Relastin per Bethany's recommendation. One amazing thing that has happened since I started the FE (Ageless) is that a very noticeable crow's foot line running from my outer eye directly to the temple has GONE completely. To give you an idea of how noticeable this was, I had asked my medi-spa doc to fill it with Restylane Fine Lines. She had been hesitant in case it then protruded a little. I showed it to her yesterday and she said, "What line?" I replied, "Exactly..."
I am going to use the JM Bioglycolic on my feet. |

Oh jeez, I never thought of that! They need mojo exfoliation anyways..perfect!
Somebody (Beth!) do a review on relastyn. I've been hesitating since all I see is cones in the ingredient list. What am I missing? |
