Hey, I havent gotten rid of them completely yet, but they are definitely less prominent. I use oil cleansing method twice a week ( there is a thread about it here) and aspirin masks ( also under recipes which is almost like a first sticky after you click on DIY forum).
Honey definitely draws them out but again I feel like the root is there and I just need to go and get them extracted by a professional.uurrggg!
Good luck! |

Blackheads are black spots on skin that occurs due to excess deposition of oil , dead skin, dust, bacteria, and other impurities. Blackheads or comdones clogs skin pores and are dark spots that appear on nose, back, chest, etc.
Blackheads are believed to be one form of acne which appear on skin surface and easily get reacted with atmospheric oxygen, and as a result its color changes to black. There is an excess deposition of oil on skin surface and as a result skin pores get clogged. Blackheads appear on skin surface where the skin area is dust prone, and where other impurities and debris are present. Male and female of any age group can be the victim of Blackheads.
Some healthy tips:
Always use natural herb-based cosmetics as they are not oil based.
Keep a good balance of rest and work.
Never squeeze the Blackheads because it causes skin infection.
Use natural face scrub for removing dead skins.
Skin pores gets clogged by infection and dust. Use warm water for washing skin as it opens the skin pores.
Always drink fruit juices and water as it hydrates your skin and keep skin pores dirt free and prevent you from various skin infections.
Use antibacterial soaps like neem soaps, keep your towel and pillow clean.
Some home remedies for Blackheads:
Mix fuller’s earth and rose water and use this face pack on normal skin This is one of the best home remedies for blackheads.
Make a paste using water and radish seeds apply it on blackheads, allow it to dry then wash it off. They are safe and effective skin treatments.
Paste of almond powder, fuller’s earth, and glycerin soap are very effective in Blackheads removal.
Make a thick paste using one table spoon black pepper and curd. Apply this paste over the effected area and let it dry for 10 minutes then wash your face with cold water. |

starxiao, once a week i put just pure honey on my T zone(nothing else, make sure its fresh, nice thick consistency and prefferably organic, i live in california so everywhere theres tons of fresh and local honey) and leave it on literally for hours until I hit the bed...you can examine your skin afterwards in the magnifying mirror and see if theres a difference.
and sometimes I feel like mixing everything together: 5 aspirins in 1 teaspoon of yogurt ( they dissolve in it after 5 min), 1 teaspoon of green clay, teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of regular cane sugar. It makes my skin glow and gets rids of some blackheads! but like I said I still have couple of really stubborn ones... |
