OK, I've been reading and reading about all the gadgets. I want to buy one of them but am so confused . I have a Dermawand but it doesn't seem to do much. Here are some of the others that I have been looking at:
STOP
Baby Quasar
Nuface
Lightstim
Tua Visa
Tua Tre'nd
I know they work differently but I am looking for something to help with fine lines and skin sagging. Especially on the eyelids! I also would like something that doesn't take a lot of time because I would not be consistent if it took too much time.
So, would anyone like to give their 2 cents regarding these machines?? I thank you very much! |

Have you been doing facial exercises to address sagging? |

I have both Flex Effect and Facersize and rarely do them. Sometimes I do Facersize in the car but that's it. It's doing nothing for my hooded eyelids! |

Facersize is less intense then FlexEffect. Have you looked at Facial Exercises and Ageless threads? You should be able to improve hooded eyelids with any of either of them Ageless or FlexEffect, both systems are quite effective. |

For hooded eyelids facial exercises would be your best bet. |

Agree. A couple exercises a day for the eyes would take you a minute. Less time than brushing your teeth. And maximum effectiveness. |

Sorry about posting duplicate posts but I am apparently not receiving the emails to tell me someone has responded. Not sure why. I'm still new and have to learn your forum policies.
Actually the other post was slightly different. I just read through the responses here and will try the exercises. However, I still want to get a facial machine. I was looking for a unit that is quick, portable (battery operated so I don't have a cord), does not require gel or a conductor (just want to use it on a dry face) and possibly help with dimpled/cellulite on legs or just some of these features. Is there anything out there? Thanks.
Thanks for bumping Havana! |

No problem, Jill!
Good advice from Mpstat and Sister Sweets. As far as an actual facial device goes, I was thinking you might find it easier if you group your tool options according to likeness and probably price point? For example...
Radio Frequency Device:
·STOP
LED Devices:
·Baby Quasar
·LightStim
·Prolight
·Tanda
Electrical Impulse:
·Nuface
·Tua Visa
·Tua Tre'nd
Of the LED devices, I think only the Tanda can be charged and used cordless. This is a good thread for selecting an LED device:

I know the Nuface and Tua Visa devices are advertised for sagging along the jawline etc. but I've never used them so I am not sure if they really work. You might want to pop onto one of the TUA Visa or Nuface threads and ask if anyone has had success with it. Toby would be a good one to ask in that thread as she has had experience with both the Tua and Nuface.

Good luck and welcome to EDS! |

Jill,
I agree with the facial exercises being great for the sag with the eye lids, and the only device that could be used on eye lids would be LED lights and for a mirocurrent machine maybe a facemaster. I prefer the Tua Viso and the Nuface wasn't effective for me at all. But the Tua Viso isn't designed to be used on the eye lid.

Maybe you could splurge and get yourself some Revive. That stuff looks amazing, when I have amassed a few more years of wisdom I'm going to try to get into that stuff. And gadgets of course. The quasar sounds really great. Good luck! |

Hi, Guys, what is the difference between Dermawand and FaceMaster? I already have a Dermawand. I'm considering buying a FM.
Thank you! |

You had stated that you wanted a device where you did not have to use gels etc. just use on a dry face. Tua Viso is the only one I know of that uses water and no gels. You just put regular tap water in the two little reservoirs and you are good to go! It comes battery operated which I have and the newest one is rechargable that is the only difference between the to. In early July Tina Richards is coming out with a DVD on how to use the Tua Viso for maximum effectiveness. |
