Hi all!
So I'm wondering if there is any such thing as an effective Vit C serum for very, very sensitive skin. My skin is so sensitive from hardcore Taz use, but I wouldn't change that for the world because I love the results! Vit C has made my skin peel in the past. Could it still be beneficial for someone like me and, if so, what product? |

Sensitive skin do not mean that you should not use VC.
My skin is a little sensitive as well, but I tried two kind of VC product, which are pretty suitable to me-Janson Beckett c&c and Philosophy vc booster. Please do not use too much each time, and also, avoid using vc in the morning. |

Besides, if you do not want to use vc onto your face, you could try to eat more vc pill, which would supply your face with enough vc as well. |

Maybe give SkinMedica C a try, as long as your skin is ok with silicone. |

I used the Valmont C+E and loved it, but using it on consecutive days was too harsh on my skin, which is oily and slightly sensitive. I've since switched to DDF and tired their Silky C, which was very nice yet gentle and now I'm using the DDF C3 Plus and I think I like it even more--time will tell. I use it in the morning under my moisturizer and sunscreen. I really believe it helps improve the texture of my skin. So, two thumbs up for the DDF formulations--they are also reasonably priced. |

I need a mild C as well. Skinceuticals proved to cause redness for me. The search continues. I am thinking active C but I just met a friend who told me it made her resistant skin turn red?!?! so maybe not. Is topical C essential or is oral supplement enough? I use Taz and am prone to redness and flushing (before taz)... I have been using NIA 24 for a month and it seems kind of calming but the redness still comes and goes. |
