Hello everyone~!
Have you ever heard about this: using hair spray as the last process to set up makeup?
Anyone tried or tries?
Any reaction?

I hear two friends said that it works!!!
But I'm so afraid that this may make my skin become sensitive or even be destroyed.

With all the fragrence and silicone I imagine it must be very clogging to pores and an allergen

I've tried it, but not intentionally..

I feel like it dries out the skin, even though it doesn't show on the makeup, I still don't like the feeling when it happens - spray that miss my hair and goes to my face, like you have a invisible thin mask on before you move your face muscles. Perhaps it make a difference which strenght you have on the spray.

But otherwise, no skin reaktion for me, and I have sensitive skin.
And yes, I will still try to avoid it.

Ay! I've never tried this or heard of it - I'd be worried that I'd get it in my eyes. I guess having that extra layer on the skin would be uncomfortable and potentially pore clogging as well.

I once accidentally sprayed my face with hairspray instead of the rosewater mist I often use to set my make-up.

Suffice to say, it’s not something I would recommend. I had to wash my face and start all over again ...

Shock I've used it on my brows to keep them in place, but I'd be afraid to use it on the rest of my face. Whatever makes hairspray sticky sounds awfully pore-clogging to me!

I wouldn't use hair spray as I feel they are too sticky and the ingredients may not be good for the skin. Why not just use a toner spray, such as Avene spring water?

The product I use to set my makeup that I am totally impressed and in love with is Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray. This year they came out with different varieties for different makeups but I think the original Finishing spray works the best. When I use this spray after my foundation I let my face dry for a minute then I powder with a finishing powder. I especially love using it after my mineral or powder foundations which is what I wear most of the time. My makeup stays perfect all day. I don't need any touchups all day. When I don't use this spray I usually need to touchup at least 5 to 6 times a day. It's an excellent product that you can't even feel on your face unlike Model in a bottle which is terrible. That product feels like hairspray on your face.

OMG, I would not dare. Why not us Laura Mercier Secret Finish to set make up?
