The best I have tried and I have used many and mixed up oils myself is SAS rosehip oil blend with squalane and a few others. I am waiting until I use up my own experiments until I repurchase |

I like SAS EveryLipidSerum applied on damp skin to seal in the moisture. Contains pomegranate seed oil and ceramides. Very inexpensive.
Also, taking a supplement with Omega-3, and a hyaluronic acid/MSM supplement (HydraPlenish) helps. And lots of pure water and fruit juice! |

I've only tried Decleor essential oil. Their ANGÉLIQUE oil is good for dry skin. I like it. |

It's not quite an essential oil, but argan oil seems to work wonders on some people! I am using Josie Maran's tinted argan oil right now, and I find it very moisturizing. |

Maybe you could try evening primrose oil with rose essential oil. Evening primrose oil is a good carrier oil to replenish water onto your skin, while rose essential oil could sooth the dry skin. Many good cosmetics use evening primrose oil as the base oil. |
True~ I use this as well and it really of great help. Also, I add some Frankincense or Indian Sandlewood essential oil sometimes, which could replenish water onto the skin. However, please don't use it everyday. Once a week would be fine~ |

Hi Maria,
Dehydrated skin is often thirsty for more moisture than many creams provide.
You need an intensively hydrating oil that can penetrate into the complexion to nourish and smooth it.
Grapeseed oil is hydrating and rich in linoleic acid which helps reinforce the skin's barrier to help it stop drying out.
Best of luck,
pinkrose |
