| depends on the mask. I leave hydrating mask overnight if i applied it at night. For the mask I use, the instruction is wrap off the residue after a few mins, so I do not need to wash my face after the mask anyway. |

The time left on completely depends upon the purpose of the mask.
A pumpkin mask from NCN which is great for exfoliating and unbeatable in the results - would chew your skin up if left on too long - 5-10 minutes tops.
The essential mask from Karin Herzog is delicate, moisturizing and plumps skin, feels lovely - one hour, all day, the time of a flight - it will keep you hydrating without harm.
The lifting masks from Fanie International must be left on 30-45 minutes. They are wonderful and work but time is important here.
Every mask is different and requires different timing for it's purpose. |

| The most I leave a mask on is for 15 minutes. Maybe I'm just impatient, but after about that long I just want to wash my face and experience that refreshed feeling! |
