I was quite hesitant to purchase any Amatokin products because I was wary of the hype surrounding this product line. However, I was making a purchase with EDS and just before pressing that dreaded "submit" button I decided to scan some more product lines and came upon Amatokin just as it was being launched.
I desperately needed something for my lips. I'm a lips2kiss drop out. My lips couldn't tolerate this line. They were constantly dry, chapped and I always felt so icky and just dying to put something soothing on my lips. I caved in one day, put on some lip blam and that was that with Lips2kiss.
By the time my parcel arrived from EDS my lips were in very bad shape. Dry, cracked, peeling and so I thought what a perfect time to try this product.
The Amatokin Emulsion is a clear, very thick, concentrated balm so it should be used sparingly. It glides on nicely and it looks like a very clear gloss on the lips. It's a nice touch that I like. After a minute there is an ever so slight tingling sensation and then the appearance of a light redness on the lips. Again, a very nice touch. And that's it!! The beauty of this product is that it STAYS on the lips for hours. Something that never happened with anything I have ever used on my lips. Along with this wonderfully extensive staying power my lips were beautifully hydrated. Yes, my cracked and peeling lips went away and stayed away and I now have beautifully moist lips. It says that you can reapply up to three times a day but one or two applications is all I need.
Now, for you lip plumping addicts, this is not really a lip plumper. I know that on the EDS website it describes this product as plumping lips, but nowhere on the box does it ever say this. My lips do not look more plump but they do look moist, hydrated and I love that slightly red tint that comes along after application. This is a product I would repurchase. It does what it claims to do and I like that too!
