I had Restylane injected in my troughs 3 years ago and I still have bumps and a lump under one eye. I have not had the money to go out an investigate what treatments could help so I use products to smooth the appearance.

I would not do it if that is what you are curious about.

could not your dr give you a steroid shot in the lump to make it go away? He should do it for free.

Oh gosh I don't think I want to try fillers them. I would be so conscious of the lumps even if I can't see them. Sad

I understand Juvederm is the way to go as a filler for troughs. I've heard this is the least likely to cause bumps and has a smoother result.

I have not seen anyone with fillers in tear troughs, but my friend who has juvederm filled in her nose/mouth lines is showing lines around where the filler was injected. I could see it very clearly, and it doesn't look natural. This is one reason I hesitate about fillers.

I would be very cautious about using fillers around the eyes, that skin is so delicate and thin. Plus, I would think it would make the puffiness worse.
Restylane and Juvaderm runs around 350.00 to 400.00 a syringe here in my part of the world. And remember you would have to continue doing this every 6 months to a year depending on your metabolism to how long it lasts.
Hope that helps.

Restylane in my tear troughs kept me from diving off the deep end.

I think it makes a difference who injects it for you. I have it injected by a plastic surgeon.

I have not had lumps or bumps... I have heard that massaging the area soon after can help with this - but would ask a derm. or ps.
