I've tried several moisturising masks, but haven't found any good one yet. Lately, I've tried Yonka Gommage 303 mask and DDF Clay Mint Mask. My skin feels very soft after using DDF. I usually leave Yonka mask on overnight, and my skin feels very refreshed and soft the next day. I think I will buy them again. However, I like to try different ones. Just ordered Dr Hauschka Cleansing Clay Mask after reading many good reviews. Is there any other masks you recommend to try? |

happygirl, I absolutely adore Liz Earle's Brightening Treatment - it's very refereshing; good as 'pick me up' if you were ill or had a long day at work. My skin is combination/oily and really likes this product, it seems to work wonders on any impurities on my skin. Liz Earle also does Intensive Nourishing Treatment which I use mostly during the winter to calm and nourish my skin. But someone with more mature and/or dry skin (my mum) might love to use this regularly. |

Happygirl - I've read good reviews about the Dr H one but it's not a moisturising mask (I'm sure you know that though). I just tried the Babor Moist & Fresh and I would say that this is a pretty good one. Also, by my prior experiences with Sothys Hydroptimale Gel, I would hope that the Sothys Hydroptimale Mask would also be a good choice (I'm yet to try this).
Btw, I hate to suggest more things for you to try but if you do like Dr H then next time you order something see if you can get a sample of the Rejuvenating mask This is particularly good if you use it over one of the Dr H ampules (although other ampules would do as well). Also, I apologise in advance for mentioning this, but do a search for Valmont Renewing Pack |

I also forgot to mention that just pure rose water on a tissue mask is a nice moisturising treatment. It's not as moisturising as some of the masks can be but it's a nice pick-me-up after a long day (or during) when you don't want to have to wipe or wash anything off your face. |

Rose water? where can I find it? Pure rose water on a tissue mask sounds simple and easy. I am pretty lazy sometimes. |

You always seem to have the best ideas! I love Dermalogica's Soothing Protection Spray so I might try it with that since I don't have rose water.
I placed an EDS order yesterday (I panicked and had to order something since November starts my personal month of savings). Along with the Babor Moist and Fresh that mabsy recommended and my fave Dermalogica skin smoothing cream, I ordered Sothys Instant Radiance Ampoules (2 x 0.3oz.) $11.00 (9.00 US). EDS describes it as transparent and refreshing mask which lifts tiredness, smooths lines and stimulates the skin. Can't hurt to try it for the price. Right now EDS has a free gift with any Dermalogica and Babor purchases so I think I did well this time! |

I can't begin to tell you how Ampules are absolutely awesome for the skin!!! I am using Jason-Beckett's Hyaluronic Acid Ampules. If you use Ampules under a Mask of your choice you will get outstanding results (unbelievable moisture and plumping of the skin that lasts for days). When you have a facial many facialists will use Ampules in their treatments. So I am sure you will love the Ampules you purchased.
There are many different Ampules for different facial needs. You can check out the JB website under salon products or EDS for Ampules. Try them....you will love them. What is so nice is they really are not very expensive considering they are so concentrated. For a hydrating mask I only use 1/2 of the ampules, put my mask of choice on top and relax for about 20 minutes. As I can remember the Jason-Beckett Ampules are approximately $35.00 - $40.00 for ten. |

Oh I laughed *so* hard when I read that!!!
Happygirl - I get rosewater from the chemist (drugstore depending on where you live ). It's not an off-the-shelf product but they make it up for me when I ask for it (I think they add a bit of glycerine to make it more moisturising). If you can't get it (or are too lazy to, as I am sometimes) then some companies have it as part of their skincare range. Jurlique certainly has a rosewater spray (very handy) and Phytomer has the Face Dew toner. You might find that a few of the health food shop brands will have this as well. For example, Kosmea (Australian healthfood store brand) also has a rosewater spray. |
