I ordered products from Christopher Drummond after seeing his website and video clips. He has several videos featuring Easy Eye Solutions and after viewing these I became interested in looking closer at his own product line. I received my products last week and wanted to use them for a while before giving a review. I am generally not a mineral makeup type gal but these products could change my mind....they are beyond mineral makeup. The products make the skin look creamy and do without a doubt minimize pores. I have tried five lines of mineral makeup and this is the only one that covers without my pores showing. Also the finish is creamy which is amazing and the look is truly natural. The eye shadows are to die for Laughing they are beautiful very natural colors and they stay on until you take them off. So far my favorite products are the concealer(creamy texture and it covers!), eye shadow, foundation, and a neat product called SAÚDE PELE Radiance Booster.
This is the website and please if others have tried this line please share. I will give a more detailed review on each product in later post.
This is a introduction from his website about the products
Christopher Drummond created luxurious makeup for those who desire 100% natural, organic-based cosmetic products that are the highest cosmetic-grade quality. Our products are made exclusively from healthy ingredients and contain natural antioxidants, such as Açai, green tea, calming botanicals, balancing essential oils, and anti-inflammatory soy isoflavones, which help firm your skin while protecting it against sun damage. Our skincare line does not contain titanium dioxide or bismuth oxychloride, two known irritants.

I have wanted to use Mineral make up for years but I always had horrible reactions to the Bismuth Ox and could not. I am not a sensitive person when it comes to skin so it really stunk because I could see the great coverage it could give.

but now CD has a line of mineral that does not have it????? Whoopi!!!! AND it is compatible with the Easy Eye products???
Double whoop!!!

This looks very interesting. I see you can buy a trial size of the foundation.

Hi Toby Smile

What is SAÚDE PELE Radiance Booster - what is it doing for you?
How did you choose the color of the foundation ?

I use now liquid foundation - Atelier and MAC N25
- do you - or anyone else have any other suggestions and recommendations

Can I use liquid and mineral together . I tried a couple of minerals foundations and not really convinced . What I am doing now I am just adding a hint of mineral powder on top of the liquid just for a bit of glow..Maybe there is a better way Smile...

XOXO

hey Roxanna,
I am a die hard liquid foundation girl also, so I know where you are coming from. I do find this is far superior to any mineral makeup I have tried. The SAÚDE PELE Radiance Booster may be something you could use with your liquid for radiance. I have used it alone and it is nice and natural with a glow to it. I would go to the website and watch the videos and email Christopher for any questions you have. I found that by ordering samples of foundation I could actually wear three different shades. I am sure that is because it is a sheer coverage if that is how you apply it. The brushes are fabulous and very reasonable. My favorite eye shadow is a new one that isn't listed on the website...the name is aymee and it is to die for Very Happy It has a slight sheen to it and the shade is a slight gold and pink combination that is total perfection on any eye color or skin color. I have worn it daily and already gotten compliments. It is natural yet it has a little punch to it...very flattering. Very Happy . Maybe I can get with it and take some eye shots so you can see Shock

Toby,

The products in this line appear really $$$-- $65 for foundation and $85 for SaudE Pele. . After using them for a while, please let us know if you feel the products are worth it.

Thanks.

Hi - I'm reviving this to let anyone interested know that the Aymee (color) eyeshadow is now on the site and available to purchase. This is the color that Toby really likes.

Also want to ask if anyone has tried these products and has anything additional to report?

ummmmm I'd love to try the SAÚDE PELE Radiance Booster but a little pricey - especially if you don't like it.

I got samples of both SAÚDE PELE and the foundation and am completely underwhelmed. Considering the outrageous prices he charges for these products, I was expecting to be blown away, but I wasn't.

Samples are $2.50 for a tiny jar, so I'd advise anyone lemming these products to get samples first.

I bought the foundation,radiance booster,eye shadows,concealer and lip gloss.I love the
concealer and would purchase it again.Covers great and blends so smoothly.I love it!The lip gloss wasn't bad but I think the price was too high for the size tube you get.I wouldn't buy the other products again.Their not bad but nothing special that justifies the high price tags.

Hi, I agree, not a mineral makeup-girl, but totally love this line!

I have the foundation, bronzer, booster, and finishing powder. Have samples of a few eye-shadows as well. Very Happy

I have been using the foundation from this line for the last 4-5 months. Bottom line, love it for the color match, finish and staying power.

It is pricey as a upfront payment so I opted for getting a sample anyways to test my color. The sample alone lasted me 2 1/2 weeks so it was a fair time to see how I would like it. I now have the full sized version which I've used the last 4 1/2 months, and it looks like I have 4 more months left of product. So it can be cost-effective overtime.

What I like most is that even without a makeup setting spray, the finish is still dewy looking if at least never dry looking. I use a facial spray afterwards just for double duty. You don't need much and it covers my pores very well. There really is no need for buffing which reduces the chance of irritating the skin with a makeup brush. In addition I find that it has long staying power.

From looking at the ingredients, you would think it would be flimsy but it really works. There is no Bismuth Oxychloride so I do not get the dry itching feeling with foundations that have had this. I realized that there is no whitecast on my face in photographs the past months and thought that was amazing since Titanium Dioxide & Zinc Oxide can do this. However, I checked the ingredient list and they are free from this too. So that explains the nice photos. I use a good amount of sunscreen underneath so don't mind not having the extra sun help.

For my acne scars, I use concealer and was using Dr. Hauschka concealer which was a bit too light for me. I decided to try out C. Drummond's. This is actually the most reasonably priced product in the line. My pot is still going after 4 months with about 2 more left. It's creamy with a moisturizing finish that does dry fast enough to apply makeup over it. Plus it has a light vanilla scent.

The other products in the line do not appeal to me along with their price points. With my orders, I have received a sample of the Revitalizing Facial Serum which worked nicely for some firming due to the DMAE. Still, I know of similar products at a better price.

There are other options for good loose foundations such as Alima, Silk Naturals, and Armoleigh at affordable prices. For me, I prefer Christopher Drummond's as it fulfills my needs but it's nice to have options. If you're interested, I highly recommend that you order a sample size to check it out first if not just for color matching.

I bought a whole bunch of stuff last fall and it's just sitting in my drawer now. The foundation is the one I like but only use it once in a blue moon now. I'm more of a liquid foundation person than mineral powders. He's on Twitter if anyone wants to follow him.

I was a liquid foundation person only too. A few years my combo skin started to get more oily when the warmer months came along so then I slowly ventured over to a pressed powder that was better for the matte effect but was too drying. I ended up with trying out loose foundation thinking my skin type wouldn't be right for it.

I guess it goes to show you that if a product is made well, it can work. I'm sure there are some liquid foundations that would work for me now.

I think what's even harder is finding a shade that matches nicely. I was lucky with my shade in this line but see that it could use some more shades to help other people out. That's what I like about Alima with all the choices.

What brand of foundation do you use if you don't mind my asking?

Never heard of Alima before but wow, they have a ton of shades and for a very good price. I've been using Lancome BX for ages here but my skin is dry, although getting better since I joined this forum. Smile

I know, The Alima site is crazy, it makes it hard to choose. Shock

My mother has used that kind before and she has drier skin herself.

My skin seems to be morphing on me, I used to only worry about stopping oil production but now I have to make sure it's moisturized enough. It's getting better here too with all the help on this board and other places.

I have Christoperh Drummand mineral makeup - samples - love them. Must say love the finishing powder so much. I am NOT a foundation person so this was suprising.

The Saude radiance booster is lovely also.
I use it sparingly so the product will last a million years. It is the perfect product for a little gleam, (or a lot!!!) and glow. You can use it face and body - great cheek bone lifter girls!

Now I'm tempted to order samples just to try this brand.
It sounds very luxurious.

I am on a budget though. I have to take time off working and have a huge dental bill to pay soon and no insurance for that either Sad

I ordered some products since reading the rave reviews here and so far -

Eye Shadows - do not like them at all (Beige - the lightest color is way too dark and yellow on me.)

Concealer - love it.

Lip Stain - (Coral Reef I think) - like it very much.

Eye pencil (Peacock) - gorgeous color, mediocre staying power.

Foundation I have not tried yet.

Hi everyone - I've recently been using the bronzer from CD's line and it's so nice - very natural with a minimal amount of sheen/shimmer - great accent for the cheekbone area.

I am interested in the Christopher Drummond but am concerned about the colours. The light looks too light and the medium looks too orange. Is it just my computer monitor?

I'm not a porcelain, fair type complexion. I was thinking medium was it, but am concerned it's going to be too dark.

Also...does it go over the Easy Eye Solutions? I just got that yesterday and am at page 21 of the thread. I think I have the application down pat, but would still like some concealer (I only wear concealer, not full foundation - I spot cover).

thanks!

the concealer is $25 and shipping to Canada is $28...never mind...I won't pay more for shipping than the product itself!
