| Instead of going to a Halloween party on Saturday night, I caught a movie by myself. "Vera Drake" (www.veradrake.com) Fabulous! Right up my alley. For those who have seen this, or for those who recognize the actress' face: she was the nurse to "Juliet" in the original (Zefarrelli) version of Romeo & Juliet (the one with Olivia Hussey). |

I LOVE mike Leigh films, and Imelda is a real goddess of british theatre and TV...will go see this (except our local fleapit never shows films like this  ) |
