Now that the summer is approacing I'm also looking for lip gloss with SPF. I know there are a lot of whitish lip balms with SPF that make you look like a Casper, the Friendly Ghost
I found a few in Sephora : Biotherm with SPF 15 and another one ( forgot the name) with SPF17 which felt really weird on the lips. So I bought Biotherm. But I want to find a better quality ( that is with better ingredients). Does anyone know any good lip glosses with SPF? |

| Bare Escentuals lip guard has a reliable SPF. |

| I always feel this kind of lipstick will make the sunscreen ingredients be swallowed. |

I'm not sure if these are sold at EDS but i reccommend the e.l.f lip shine's cause they are very soothing for your lips, though they arn't natural (call me natural obsessed ) They also have a very big choice of colors. they are actually $1 each so pretty cheap...I also use the bare escentuals lip guard...it is natural as i like it, but its $15 and has SPH 15. I personally think its worth letting go of $14 more dollars for something that is natural cause the ingredients absorb into your skin.
Well, Hope i helped! |

I think that Clinique Glosswear has spf15.
However I think that the emphasis should be upon broad spectrum (UVA AND B)rather than just spf 15 protection which often means just UVB.
There has been some suggestion that protecting the skin just against the UVB rays can give the wearer an unjustfied sense of protection and make them stay out longer in the sun, allowing the UVA rays to penetrate and do more damage.
I wish that the cosmetics companies would get their act together and make any product with UV protection, broad spectrum full stop. PPD would also be good, but that's proably asking far too much! |
