Any updates on Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals?

I searched and read some old threads in the 2003-2005 timeframe in which people were reporting on their first tries of JI Liquid Minerals.

I'm considering purchasing, after being a long-time Pure Pressed and Amazing Base user of JI. I went to a salon today and got a color match, but I may go elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. The makeup specialist at the salon seemed certain she nailed my color but I'm not so sure.

Please post any updates if you are long-time user or new user of JI Liquid Minerals. Thanks!

First time posting, but here goes, I tried the liquid minerals, i have a very sensitive skin and it shows everything. The minerals streaked and stayed "ONTOP" they looked so bad, very expensive mistake, so now i stick to mineral powders. Hope this helps. The consistency was thick and oily.

Hi Petals! Thanks for posting. I made a consult appointment for next week with DS's dermatologist staffer who is in charge of Jane Iredale consultations. They only have a late afternoon appointment available on my day off. I am going to see what color she recommends in it. I am hoping to walk out without buying anything at that point because I want to see what it does on my skin for the 5-6 hours before I wash it off.

I went earlier in the week to my salon; they also sell JI. I didn't like the color and was unsure about how it sat on my skin. I guess that's a clue, that it sat on my skin rather than absorbed into it somewhat, as I was expecting.
