I love MAC shadows. They are not expensive and have a great selection of colors to choose from. I use Clinique touchbase with all my shadows. It intensifies the color and makes it stay longer and I don't have a problem with creases. |

If you're looking for super dense color, NARS is great, but it takes a light touch to apply it, because the colors are so strong. I also like the TWO FACED shadows a lot!! |

Just about any eyeshadow will have staying power if you used the UD primer.
Laura Mercier and Trish McEvoy are 2 of my faves.
There is also a company called hauteface.com
that one of my girlfriends saw on Oprah a couple years ago. Their eye shadows have excellent staying powder.

I love Jane Iredale...it NEVER creases and it lasts all day. It's a rich pigment that comes in a great variety of shades, and even duo and trio combos that make it easy to put together a smokey eye. |

A big 2nd to Jane Iredale! Although they're powders, the consistency is almost creamy. They apply very smoothly and last all day without creasing. My favourite matte shades are all JI. |

Everyday minerals is great and CHEAP. You can get 10 of their small-sized shadows for less than $20! |

Chanel has always been my hands-down favorite for eyeshadow - always a sure bet. Lately, I have found some really nice neutrals from Lumiere MMU - very soft, neutral and no creasing - although I do use Urban Decay Primer first. |

I love Chanel. The quads are more sheer in pigmentation (which I prefer and love) and the singles are more pigmented and smoother (superb quality, I just use the lighter shades).
A great low-end option is NYX. They have great pigment (which is why I don't use any of them, too much color for me!). |

I think the primer is important. I use the Lumene primer under Everyday Minerals, Silk Naturals, and Dr. Hauschka, and they all stay on all day without creasing! |

bibimbap, I tried the EDM eyeshadow and it seems like it's a little too sparkly and it doesn't last as long as I would like. Any suggestions to make it work better? So far I'm using Chamomile and Oasis shades. |

MAC is good, but I still find that it doesn't last that long... Maybe it's just me. |

MAC is just ok with me. The matte shades are just awful; they don't blend well at all.
Paula's Choice eye shadows are my new favorite. |

I really like the mac paintpot in bare study as a primer. it really stays on the whole day.
Also, I really like the eyeshadows from the tarte pallette, even without any primer. |
