I am considering this Colorescience 'Let me be clear', and it has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in it, so
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/colorescience-let-me-be-c-p_10614.htm

a. I am wondering if this is meant to be a powder sunscreen? And,
b. what is the SPF in this product?

Colorescience let me be clear has a SPF of 30 as do all their sunforgettable products...

Their foundations are a SPF of 20...

you should know that 'all clear' you can't detect on your skin..

almost clear...is quite dark

perfectly clear is in the middle which I use I have fair to medium skin tone...I do use this product as a foundation and it does stay on all day... it really works!!

Thank you - I've actually emailed EDS and they told me that this is not an SPF product even though it has titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in it. To me if it has it - it has some sun protection to it.

I am using mineral lose powder foundation and also loving it. My skin is very fair, so anything that's a tid bit dark or has any yellow in it stands out...

I am just looking for a lose mineral powder sunscreen without any unnecessary fillers or cheap extras

I probably wouldn't use it without using their foundations or their 'sunforgettables' as it really doesn't list a SPF at all.....

It really is meant for problem skin not sun protection....I'm sorry I quickly read your concern and didn't realize that you were talking about their new 'let me be clear' formulation...

I don't think that problem skin is the only target here - it means that it's also good for problem skin because it's breathable, it doesn't contain many extras, some good stuff, and it's not irritating.
In other words mineral makeup can be used by those who are prone to irritations, rosacea and so on....

I agree but I don't see them listing the SPF for this product so I wouldn't trust it for sun protection....

Yes, I agree. If they don't emphasize it as protecting you from the sun, I would not expect it to.
