Me: 48, Caucasian, color and heat processed long curly-ish hair, normal skin, some signs of aging, premenopausal - trying not to obsess about getting older, people usually guess my age to be 40
Mine:
Hair:
conditioning cleanser method
L'Oreal Natures Therapy conditioner
deep conditioning: coconut oil
apple cider vinegar rinses
Leave in Spray moisturizer, heat protectant
Wella Charm or L'Oreal Excellence Color, Shimmerlights to remove brassiness
Face& Hands:
oil cleanser
Retinoids, C serums, oil based serums, antioxidant serums, dermarolling
occlusive moisturizer, lanolin for barrier repair
broad spectrum sunscreens
Botox twice a year, Restylane once a year in tear troughs
Teeth&gums:
dental visits, flossing, Sonicare, oral irrigator, whitening trays - use about 3-4 nights, twice a year
Nails:
glass files, OPI, China Glaze, Seche polishes, keep them short and straight, Aquaphor for cuticles
Body: just shave gel, deodorant, baby powder, sometimes a cheap moisturizer on legs, sunless tanning spray
Feet: Apple Cider vinegar rinses, nail polish. Aquaphor after showering
Makeup: Jane Iredale foundation, MAC blush, The Balm concealer, NYX and MAC shadows, trying to find a good eyeliner pencil, the best drugstore mascaras that money can buy.
Overall: smiling
I realize after reading this how high maintenance I've become, but I have learned to economize with my money and time.
Do not yet use any gadgets or facial exercises, still looking into those for sagging issues. Undecided about what to do with my lashes to help them grow longer and thicken.
