My SIL had the dysport instead of the botox in her 11's but it never took. It did relax them, but they never completely relaxed. |

I have tried Botox and Dysport and I liked Dysport better. They both seem to last the same amount of time for me. Dysport showed instant results, whereas Botox took a few days to completely relax the muscle. I also didn't get a headache with Dysport (strange?)like I do with Botox. |

I've never heard of this before and wondering now if it's botox or dysport that I've had! |
Dysport has been used for years in Australia (it has only just been released in the US) and it is quite common for the clinics here to not inform you whether they're using Botox or Dysport. The price is the same for both. |

I heard about dysport but was told that the reason it costs less per unit is because the doctor will have to inject more units to get the same result for you, so in the end it costs the same.
Did you find this statement to be true? |

I have used both Dysport and Botox for the glabellars, frown lines.
Dysport worked faster and lasted longer for me:)I could tell a difference for around 5 months!!
The price per unit is cheaper for dysport...but they have to use more units...so it equals out in price. (not counting whatever specials are being offered)
I think for my crows feet I would use Botox, just because it doesnt move around as much. But I will definately stick with the Dysport for the frownlines. I LOVED it.
cheers
