Hi,
I have been using a 10% lactic acid since about April this year. I have only been using it evey 10 days but started out using it more often for the first month or so, I only leave it on for about 60 to 90 seconds and rinse it off. Now my skin is so sun sensitive that I cant even ride in the car for an hour without getting a burn, even though I'm wearing a mineral sunscreen of spf 30 and the sun is not directly on my face, I'm just getting the glare from the sun on the dash board that is burning me.
Does anyone know of a good non mineral sunscreen that wont cause irritation, that has a higher SPF so I don't burn. Hopfully one I can get at the drugstore. I cant believe I cant even ride in a car without getting a burn now, even though I haven't used 10% lactic acid for 2 weeks. I hope this doesn't last forever. Has anyone else had this problem???
Thank you for any help |

do you apply 1/4 teaspoon sunscreen to your face every single day? |

Yes, I'm sure I apply at least that much. I'm using MyChelle spf 28 and also Blue Lizard Baby sunscreen spf 30. I have burnt with both of them. I apply sunscreen then I will go back and apply more before I leave to go someplace. So I must be using enough.
I would really like to find a good mineral sunscreen with a higher spf. I was looking at Fallene Cotz sunscreen spf 58. |

When I was using Obagi's Nu Derm, I used the Dr. Lewinn's sunscreen. This stuff works really good. I never burned or tanned through that sunscreen, but it is a very thick paste so not sure if you want something like that or not. |

Thank you, I'll look at that one.
I'm going to try putting more sunscreen on also, maybe I just need more like stellar said.
Thank you, both! |
