Which Lauress MMU ingredient is causing clogged pores?

After using Lauress's Ethereal foundation for a couple weeks, I've developed a bunch of clogged pores, little white bumps and blackheads along the side of my cheeks. I've never gotten clogged pores before. Nothing else in my routine or diet changed during that time, and they appeared in the areas where I tend to apply foundation more heavily. I'm quite upset because a) the pores look enlarged and my skin texture looks awful now, and b) I really loved the finish of the Ethereal.

The Ethereal ingredient list is below. Anyone have a guess as to what ingredient is the culprit? This hasn't happened with any of the 5 or 6 brands of MMU I've tried before, even with those containing Bismuth Oxychloride. While I won't be using the Ethereal anymore, now I'm paranoid about trying other brands of MMU until I figure out the culprit.

Titanium Dioxide
Zinc Oxide
Mica
Boron Nitride
Lauroyl Lysine
Silica
Iron Oxides

And if anyone has ideas on how to undo the damage other than the BHA, mandelic acid and OCM I'm trying now, I would love to hear them.

Have you used any mineral make up before? Usually the main culprits would be zinc oxide, mica or boron nitride. That's why some formulas are mica-free and some don't use zinc oxide.

And unfortunately, mineral make up doesn't agree with some people's skins no matter what the formula.

It also may be a function of the milling of the foundation--the size of the particles could make a difference, I think. If you really like the product, why not try a primer first? It might help by blocking the foundation from settling into the pores.

Since it is happening in areas where you applied more product, I bet it is caused by not getting all the minerals off your skin at night. I get this if I don't wash my makeup all the way off and the Ethereal has such good adhesion, I have to be extra vigilant when I wash it off at night. I wouldn't use acids if I was you. these tend to cause more reactions with MMU. I don't know why, but you can do searches in forums and find a lot of people have breakouts when they combine acids with MMU. Sad
