I have been using Skinceuticals Vit C + E and am very happy with it. However I feel like trying a vivier vit c product for a change. The question is my skinceuticals is 15% Vit C and the vivier is either 10 or 20%. I have not had any irritation as long as I moisturize really well. Should I go with the 20%? 10% seems like it would be going backwards. And what is the Vivier vit c + kinectin for?
Thanks! |

If you have used the 15% for a while and you're fine with it then you should be fine with the 20% Vivier. I have found that the Vivier serums tend to sting less in general (if you do get stinging at all that is) than say SC or Cellex-C.
The C + Kinetin is basically a vit C serum with a Kinetin addition (much like the C + E serum). Kinetin is an antioxidant and is supposed to be a good anti-aging agent which is non-drying and can be used on sensitive skins. I don't know all that much about it (apart from the fact that Almay has a line centered around this ingredient). Has anyone here done any "research" on Kinetin and its potential benefits? |
