I read in a magazine that the reason why celebrities makeup stays put for the long nights of evens is because their makeup artists use AirBrushing. I have never heard of this before, so google helps the ignorant...
For those who are also curious, here is the video

It sounds like it has a lot of advantages, but how about the ingredients of the stuff applied? Does anyone know, if it is good for the skin or damaging? What is your thinking on this one, ladies? |

wish I could answer your question....I can only give personal experience. I had this done for my sister's wedding. My face was tight and felt dry all night. I didn't like it at all and from here on out I will apply my own make up.
Note: I was allowed to apply my own lotions and creams so that was not the cause of the dryness.
Just my opinion (oh, and I looked like a clown) |

hey, I was contacting some makeup artists for wedding makeup and specifically was picking their brains about airbrush makeup if for no other reason than it sounded fun to have done. One of the makeup artists told me she used to use it but that they contain alcohol that she saw drying the bride's skin out into the day, making it tight and pull, so she switched to regular makeup.
dunno for sure, but that is what one MUA told me. HTH. |
