Hi everyone,
I am thinking about buying ''TEMPTU AIRbrush Makeup System''. It is $225 at Sephora. And the re-fills are $50.
It is a big investment so I would like to hear personal opinions on this item.

I'm bumping this up as I'd also like to hear of anyone's experiences with Temptu, please. |

I have no experience with the product but have looked at it at Sephora...in my opinion, unless you are in the make up industry I think the novelty of having to use it everyday will wear off.
It easier to just brush some mineral foundation on your face and out the door.
If you tend to spend a lot of time on your make up as it is, I think it would be good for you.
Im not a morning person...I;d rather hit snooze one more time than airbursh my face with make up LOL unless of course it is for a special occasion. |

I'm looking at it as a replacement for my beloved SK-II Air Touch. Unfortunately, mineral foundation doesn't look good on me at all - it dries out my skin and very much emphasises any fine lines and pores. No other foundation I've ever tried has come close to matching the lovely, light, glowing, flawless finish of the Air Touch, but I'm hoping that an airbrush system might be a viable alternative.
Does anyone know if it take a lot of setting up? With the Air Touch, I can just switch it on and spray. |

I have the temptu and totally love it!!!!
We were in Las Vegas last month and picked it up there. I love my SK-II as well, but I think I like the finish of the temptu better.
I also have luminess at home air brush system, but find the temptu easier to use and less set up.
With luminess you need to add the colour, spray, then rinse makeu-up wand with water, mine got plugged easily and I found it a pain to set up.
The temptu once put together all you do is plug it in and press 1 button. I leave it set up and it only takes a few seconds, hths. |

Thanks so much, lipglossdoll! Definitely sounds worth investigating.
Unfortunately, I understand that it's only for sale through Sephora in the US and Canada. However, I do have plenty of SK-II refills to keep me going for now. Next time I'm in Canada, I'll see if I can get a demo in the Toronto branch to try it out. |
