Hi,
my EDS order came today BE minerals. I love them already.
I really wanted to say thanks to whomever dealt with my order and patiently kept me aware of what was happening. When my credit card wouldnt let you have the money. Brick wall Even though there was loads left on there for me to spend.(I think my old man has told them not to let me buy any more cosmetic things) rofl
Thanks to whomever phoned. I was out and son took the call and did not remember name. I would have loved to have spoken to you.
Thank you for the samples as well, I cannot wait to try them.
Lastly big hug to you all. You do a sterling job. Keeping the site clean-ish.Giving great advice and giving us the occasional laugh.

Hi
I got the bare escentuals mineral foundation,
the warmth and the mineral veil with instruction video.I bought the light 1.2, as I had read that the medium was quite dark. Also got the D20 hydration spray. This make-up is the best. At last I have a perfect complexion and do not look like a clown.

YAY!!! Glad you found something to LOVE! I'm currently in the process of trying some mineral makeups. I've ordered JI samples and am waiting for them to arrive. I want some BE samples too

You know what? I have very fair skin (the stereotypical American "peaches and cream" complexion)...typically I require the lightest shade of foundation that I can find (i.e.: shades called "ivory" or "ivory fair"), so when I bought the BE mineral foundation the first time, I figured I needed the "Light" shade. Turned out it was TOO light -- I looked like a ghost! So next I tried the shade called "Fair" (I might actually have these in reverse...), and it was too light and pinkish. So I got the Medium #3 (at the time I started using BE, they didn't have these "decimal" shades like 1.2 or 3.1), and it turned out to be just perfect (note: it's more yellow-based)! In fact, whenever Leslie Blodgett (CEO of BE) is on QVC for the BE specials, she tells viewers that 75% of all ladies fall into the category that should need shade Medium #3!!!

The point I'm trying to make is I hope you got the right shade, afterall. If not, please don't be disappointed! I believe in BE mineral foundation so much, and I know when you get the right shade, you will be amazed at how good your skin looks and you will NEVER NEVER NEVER go back to wearing traditional foundations because they feel so nasty on your skin and look "made up." With BE (and probably ANY mineral foundation, if I'm honest), you don't look like you're wearing makeup, you just look like you've got fabulous skin! <Geez, now I sound like the infomercial!)

Good luck and let us know if you love it!

Lori.....

Like Carrie, I'm considered fair, but I wear the medium. I have also used medium beige and that was fine too. The mineral veil is absolutely awesome. I even wear it over Jane Iredale powder makeup when I wear it.

And, you certainly might want to look at the BE concealer. It's the only powder concealer I've ever used, but it is the best concealer I've ever used.

My pictures on my ES website (the last one with makeup) was with the BE medium. That might help you to look at it.

JUDY
