Same here Coconut, I actually got tears in my eyes. I said a prayer for her tonight and thanked God for all his blessings. |

| Seeing her story makes me thankful for what I have. The world is so obsessed with beauty now a days. I can't believe children at her school were calling her names! |

| We are so lucky. Anyway, I think we should take care ourselves in the middle ways. Don't spend to much money on expensive skincare. |

I was going to post that story myself because this forum was the first one I thought of when I saw her and her mother on the Today Show. This is why people get fat injections as they age.
But how stupid and selfish is her mother?! She has the condition, knows it's genetic and has two older children with the same disease. All the kids have different fathers and the family is on welfare. Any other woman with a brain and a conscience would have had her tubes tied to prevent further suffering or at the very least used a good form of birth control. |

I agree with everyone here. Children can be so cruel and hurtful,so can adults for that matter.
That Mother! what is she thinking, knowing this is genetic and having other children with it.
We are so blessed and have no right to complain about our lines, wrinkles and age spots. But as the old saying goes Every old barn looks better with a coat paint,so I'm going to painting!!! |

It actually makes me sad to hear a 13-year-old girl saying that "when she has her face done, it gives her more confidence" .... |

| Very sad brought tears to my eyes! So unfair to deal with aging at such an early age and not to have experienced youth! |

That is really heartbreaking. Children can be so cruel- wait until their conscious kicks in and they remember what they said.
I sympathise with the mother becuase she has the diease too, but to willingly have children is...beyond me. I would have to adopt. I couldn't put my children through that. |

it is so sad, i feel so sorry for this little girl.
but I do not understand why her mom, by knowing the fact that her kids would have the same problem, still made kids.....
after all she suffered, why would her put her kids in the same or even worse situation.
I mean, she can have sex, if she really wants kids, she can adopt one. |
