Hello girls,
I think it's just as important to use the products the right way as selecting the right products. Surprised
So, here I am again to ask your daily beauty routine.... so we all can look a day younger everyday Dancing Dancing Dancing ...
P.M.
- cleanser
- Exfoliation
- masks (3 times a week)
- Ylang-Ylang oil (sometimes)
- moistures
A.M.
- Cleanser
- Moisture
- sunscreen

One question - if you are using vic-C, where and when should you use it?

If you are using vit c serum, you should use it in the am, after cleanser and before moisturizer and spf. Also, are you exfoliating every pm? If so, that is too often for your skin.

Here is my routine:

am:
- splash with water only or use cleanser (depending on how my sensitive or flaky my face is)
- eye cream
- spf (on face, neck, hands)

pm:
- cleanser
- hydrosol/toner
- eye cream
- spot treat if needed
- moisturizer (on face, neck, hands)

once or twice a week:
- exfoliation
- mask

I have normal/sensitive skin that is prone to dermatitis and clogged pores.

AM:
Cleanse
Sometimes toner
Moisturise
Sunscreen (SPF 25)

PM:
Cleanse
Sometimes toner
AHA lotion (every second night - important to use AHA products at night as they can leave your skin more exposed to sun damage)
Moisturise

Masks - twice a week Smile

My skin is normal/dry patches

AM;
Cleanse - Spectro Jel
Sunscreen if I want to. Usually I do not.

PM;
Cleanse - Jan Marini's Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser
Apply Retin A Micro

That's it! (Of course the day I shave, my routine has a little more products included)
I do use a few extra products, when not shaving, but not regularly enough to include here. DDF Ultra Lite Moisturizing Dew for example.

My skin ranges from oily to normal and is acne-prone and sensitive. It is also aging Sad

My basic routine:

A.M.
Gentle, non-foaming cleanser
Decleor Neroli
Decleor Eye and Lip cream
Dermadoctor Picture Porefect or Decleor Hydrafloral Cream
Makeup

P.M.
Gentle cleanser (foaming type a few times a week)
Alcohol-free toner
Decleor Eye and Lip cream
Deleor Ylang Ylang balm or Hydrafloral Cream

I vary it depending on how my skin is behaving. When I have tried too many new products, Decleor Harmonie Essentielle quickly calms my skin. I try to mask a few times a week. I use Decleor Phytopeel when my skin is looking dull, but I also use a moisture mask or clay mask depending on what my skin is doing. I still love my honey, jojoba meal, and lavender mix for cleansing and manual exfoliation.

There are so many products on my try/buy list; I want too many products, and have too little face Exclamation

My skin is combination. I'm 60, but my skin is very firm and has few to no problems, except a few age spots that I cover with concealer.

Nuvante Nourish
Nuvante Revive eye cream

PM

Nuvante Replinish
Nuvante Revive Eye Cream

Esthers Secret Lifting Masque 3 times per week or two times if I'm really busy.

hi happygirl Smile

I copied this right from my website.

Sebum is the skin's natural hydrator. It is comprised of approximately 85% oleic acid triglycerides. EpiDerm Camellia Seed Oil has a pH of 2.8, and has nearly the same composition as sebum. Olive Oil, another prized essential oil contains 75% oleic acid triglycerides (cholesterol free). Omega 3 fatty acids comprise up to 88% of EpiDerm Camellia Seed Oil; natural elements that strengthen the skin's environmental protective barrier.

Now for me personally I use it to moisturizer my face/hair (alot of gals with dry hair love this for hair)/body. I have tried a few oils and Epiderm's is the lightest and fastest to sink into the skin. Silkia is popular so I sell that but not as absorbing as Epiderm's and I use Blue Sage for my body as that one is the heaviest of the 3.

Some say it has helped with acne scarring, firming of face but I can't speak from this experience, so moisturizing it what I use it for and since this sinks faster than others I have used I use during the day too where with the others I only used at night. I don't need anything else, like eye cream at night.

You can PM or email me if you have other questions and also there is information on 2 pages on my website about Silkia and Epiderm's oil.

I see a lot of people use c-serum in the morning rather than evening. Is that when you suppose to use? I dont have much time to get ready in the morning, so I do minimum Rolling Eyes to save time for Zzzzzzz....

Happygirl,

Morning is the best time to use a vitamin C serum because it helps protect your skin from the effects of the sun/environment during the day - when you are actually exposed to it. So you'll see that most people tend to use it in the mornings to get the most benefit.

I sympathise though - I love my sleep too! Laughing

really? hmm I am sure if I can find the time to do it (even 1 min is precious for me in the morning). But, using vit-C in the night is better than not using, right? Laughing

Laughing Yes, but I'm sure the 1 minute in the morning will be worth your while!
