Hi, I'm looking for my first eye cream! I'm a 19 year old female with normal/sometimes dry skin and no current lines or wrinkles in eye area so I'm looking for a prevention rather than treatment type of product. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate, thanks. |

Hi Mailnat,
Since you are looking to prevent, what about an eye cream that contains SPF? The best one I've used is Murad Vit C SPF 15. If you do a search, this is one that has been recommended a few times. At night, I like to use Phytomer Cernes Contour or the Declor Eye Cream (not sure the name). It keeps the area well hydrated and puffiness down.

I'm 19 also and now i'm using Phytomer Cernes Contour, it really helps to reduce the appearance of puffiness. For prevent, i agree with freckels127, try the one that has SPF and do eye mask. |

I use Sircuit's WhiteOut and I think its fantastic. Ive used it under one eye now for 3 weeks to see the comparison...and boy is it stark! I have one black eye now!
You can get it from their website but I warn you it is a tad pricy at $55 but trust me - it lasts forever. Im 22 by the way.

Mailnat - I'd also go with the Murad Essential-C SPF15. It's a great eye cream to begin with, has SPF protection without feeling like it does, and you can always hope that it has some vit C in it (although I'd rather go with an additional serum). Babor Sensational Eyes cream is also very good light moisturiser for the eye area, but lacks in SPF for day use.
But I do have to mention that I have been told that eye creams with SPF are never as moisturising as ones without SPF, so if you have really dry skin then you should probably go with something else. Should be fine for normal to dryish though. |
