Last night when my little grey cat didn't return home after several hours out, I panicked!
She always comes home after an hour or two, and is begging for treats usually. She's a bit of an airhead, and still acts like a kitten although she's not, and we live in the mountains (wildlife, owls etc)so I was very worried.
I searched for her until 3 am, and cried myself to sleep.
At 6 am I went out to look for her again in the daylight, and she was inside my car! I had gone to the grocery at 8pm last night and when I was unloading apparently she jumped in 
There is no real point to this story, I am just so relieved! Whew!  |

Glad it was good news. I really can relate to the missing cat "ache in the stomach". As you know having a cat while living in the country should be an indoor cat. |

| I know that feeling! After such a shock and then the relief, you probably needed to share the news! I'm so glad that she turned up safe and well. |

| Wow you are so lucky. My friend who lives in the mountains couldn't find her cat to put back into her house. She had to leave for a meeting so she just left the cat out on her own. When she came back her driveway was sprayed with blood and the remains of her cat. It was a cougar attack. She lives in Canmore Alberta!!! Its dangerous for small pets out there! |
