Hello to all my friends...hope u all r in the best condition of health Smile
For the past few weeks i have been trying to find the right mineral foundation for myself...i tried everyday minerals,,then laura mercier and now Jane iredale...almost all of them have some what the rigth sahdes for me but the everyday minerals matches the best tone for my yellow complexion..
I have heard alot of good things about it but for the ast few days people have been writing stuff that has scared me..
Is it true that it can cause bumps on face ? i would love to buy it but i dont wanna get bumps on my face ofcourse...Has anyone tried it,,,if yes,,,what do u think about it ?
How is Jane iredale? i really liked it too..
Hpw is laura mercier,,,I found real sand would be a btter match but still it is a bit less yellow than i would want for y mself but i think i can still go with it...

Plz anyone who has tried all of these 3,,,i would love if u can compare these and list the things u like and dislike about them...Which one would u recommend me ..i have yellow tone,,,dry skin,,age 30,,,with acne scars,,,need medium coverage Smile
Last thing,,,laura mercier mineral foundation is for 35 $,,,jane iredale for 42 and everyday for 12 dollars ? why is IT SOOOO CHEAP ?anything wrong with it ?
Thanks everyone Smile

Hi maheen - I've tried 2 of those 3, so I can only give my opinion on those.

I've tried both JI and Everyday. For the price - Everyday is great. Their samples are a wonderful thing to try too.

The JI is more elegant - goes on nicer, but it's way more $$.

If you have a C.O. Bigelow nearby (we have one at a regional mall) they sell JI and you could try some on there. I know it's usually only offered on-line or at a derms' office otherwise. C.O. Bigelow has a lot of skincare products, so it's a pretty cool store. I could spend hours in there.

I have acne prone skin and have no problems w/ either product(no bumps). Everyday minerals has a green MMU that covers up red spots (acne ones) great and works well under a base MMU. I also like their Kaolin Powder (Soft Bronze) for an anti-shine. Soaks up the oil on my skin great!

I like the container of the JI better than the Everyday, but the Everyday one has a slide-over lid to prevent too much powder from spilling into the top which is nice for travel. I guess the shape of the JI is what I like better (the EM is shorter and wider) so each one has its own advantages there.

I like LM Makeup, except the mineral foundation contains bismuth oxychloride. IDK if that matters to you, but I steer clear of it.

Yeah, I looked at the actual box at Sephora and read the ingredients for my skintone. I forget what it was called, but I'm always the lightest or 2nd lightest.
