I would like to purchase some skincare products for my mother for Christmas present but I need some help..
She is 59 years old and have quite dry skin. She has not been using “anything special” before. Rubenstein sometimes as well as Lancôme but for the moment I think she is using l’oreal. Skin products has never been a thing that she prioritized (I imagine I am enough obsessed for both of us).
Unfortunately I do not have a big Christmas budget this year. (80 -100 USD…)
Do you have any ideas? Thanks for your help!

I am 59 like your Mother. My daughter has given me a gift certificate for a facial on many occasions. Perhaps that would be a nice gift for your Mother. If she is not really into skin care products a facial might be a great idea for her to see how nice her face can look after a professional treatment. A facial is a also a great way to get started before using new products. You Mother most like need a good exfoliation and perhaps some extractions for her skin to benefit from a new skincare routine. |

I was thinking on the same thing but I live in Italy and my mother in Sweden and I arrive one day before Christmas. I could let my sister but a gift card but knowing my mother the gift certificate would be lying forgotten after a while because of lack of time and other excuses… I would like to buy her a product that makes her really understand the
difference between skincare products… and awakening an interest that she start purchase “good” products herself….. (and to stop with those horroble tanning lamps….) |

Thinking of Skinceutals Vit C…I think it does small wonders with the skin…and while she been sunbathing a lot as young… While I know she likes tanning lamps can she do them even if she put on the serum C in the morning? |

Since you said she has dry skin, I was going to recommend Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream. Now that you've said that she likes using tanning lamps I am definitely suggesting a vitamin C serum though! |

Vit. C.....Yes!!! Great idea. The Rose Day Cream Mabsy recommended is lovely and she can also use it around her eyes. |
