Has anyone used their Retin-A prescription for their face on their chest area? Is it safe? Would it be too strong?
I have discoloration on my chest from acne over the years, so what I have now are white spots where the acne was and tanner areas where I got sun.
Would Retin-A work? |

I use RA on my chest area and I don't find it too strong. The RA has helped but I also use a skin brightening cream & vit. C for discolouration from sun damage. I've seen at least 50% improvement. |

I use it on my neck and chest, as well. Only a few nights a week, as the RA can be irritating in that area. I agree with brierrose, C and A on that area, as well! |

Brierrose,
What skin brightening cream are you using? I'd be thrilled with a 50% improvement!!
Rileygirl,
What's your protocol for your chest? I tried some of the Obagi products a few times, but my chest is ultra-sensitive and has a hard time handling the products.
Thanks!! |

I regularly use Tazorac on my neck and chest and have no problem with peeling skin the way I do on my face. Good luck! |

I use the Retin A there twice a week, kims. Usually in the morning I would apply the skinceuticals CEF to that neck/chest area, but right now I am using a sample C that kassy made, which I apply in the morning. On the nights I don't use RA, I have also been using that sample C at night. |

I will give it a try. I have quite a large tube of my prescription Retin-A (Tretinoin Gel) and certainly would have enough to use in my chest area.
I also use SkinCeuticals CEF on my face, but it is so darn expensive that I don't think I can afford to use it on my chest as well. Maybe I can find a cheaper Vit. C for my chest. Maybe Cellbone? |

kims, the cream I've been using is from Arbonne called Revelage. I'm quite happy with how it's evened out the skin tone on my chest.
Nia 24 has a brightening cream specially for the decolletage to repair sun damage. I might try this one next. |
