Attention Animal lovers! The Animal Rescue site is having a Shelter Challenge! Once a day you can vote for your favorite Animal Shelter to win a money grant. I will include the link below and you can read about the prizes!
If you don't have a favorite animal shelter (just wanted to know sanctuaries are included) you may want to "google" your city to find a local shelter.
Just go to http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com
along the side of the website there are purple tabs. Click on the one that says "Shelter Challenge". |

| I use this site as my home page. They have a button up the top to click on anytime. Everytime you do they get .6 of a bowl of food for rescued animals. Worth a second to click. |

Thanks pleiades! Laney is beautiful! When I seen the picture she reminded me of my dog Sadie. We had to put her to sleep about a month ago. She was 14, so she lived a great long life. I miss her every day.

Laney is gorgeous. Is she a cavalier? She looks like my CKCS, or the way mine would look if she lost some weight.
SCJ,sorry to hear about Sadie. How could you not miss her after all those years together? Thanks for the link, by the way -- I voted for the rescue organization that connected me with my third little furry girl a few months ago. |

So sorry to hear about Sadie, SCJ. She, indeed, lived a wonderful life, especially having someone, like you, to love and care for her. My little guy just turned 16 in December and I cannot imagine any greater joy then having him around.

Thanks girl! Yep, Laney is a cavalier. He was a rescue, born with his whole left side deformed, the most evident being his front paw contracted to his chest. He's a little firecracker, though. |
