Hi, i have 3 questions that i need sum help with. I have recently bought a jessners and a tca20% peel.
I have used the jessners on my face already but it seems a little too weak so i want to use the jessners and tca right after the other.
Am i ment to wash the jessner off then do tca or just apply the tca over the jessner?
How long do i have to wait before i can do the jessner + tca after doing a jessner 1 day before?
Also on my back i have sum really dark marks from chickenpox and acne on my back. they arnt pivoted nor elevated. They kinda look like light/ dark bruises. Will TCA help me remove them? how many layers should i do? Im really self conscience about the marks as it really looks bad.
Yours truly Mat_jak
P.s open to any suggestions or ideas |

I'm no peel expert, only tried TCA about 4 times, but I did Jessner's then 2 layers of 25% TCA. You're supposed to do them together.
The previous TCAs I've done before were all applied with a q-tip. This time (I used another company's peels), I used the supplied gauze with the Jessner's and it stung like hell. Though the gauze does give you a much more concentrated solution than a cotton bud.
So I cheated and washed it off afterwards..then plucked up the courage to do the two layers of 25% TCA with q-tips after about 10 minutes or so.
As for results..I look pretty good for a few days afterwards but no wow moments yet. Hope someone with more experience can help! |

No, don't mix them together, do them all in layers. I read somewhere that doing the Jessner's first with TCA gives the same efficacy of a deeper TCA without the risks. |

If you do Jessner + TCA you might be doing (depending on how much you use, how many layers, etc.) a medium depth peel.
So I would recommend to first do 4-6 weeks of Retin-A + hydroquinone to help healing and prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
This is especially true if you're going for a level II frosting. |
