Is Biafine oil-free?
The Aquaphor made me break out. Plus, it felt nasty.
I enjoy using Biafine. I've used it before and I already have it. It lasts forever!
I'm recovering from Laser Resurfacing. My face is not oily right now (a welcome change!), but it is very crusty. While not dry, it is very peely and crusty.
Would Biafine be better to heal or using Kate Somerville's sample of her Oil-Free Moisturizer? Keep in mind I want to heal as fast as possible without having any breakouts.
Do I continue wearing a moisturizer (Biafine) until all the crustiness is gone?
When my skin is finished healing, I will nost lose moisturizer anymore since my skin is so oily!

I never had breakouts from the biafine, I love it for just about everything.
I had to use Aquaphor the first week and then I switched to SkinMedica TNS Nouricel MD face lotion/cream but I don't remember which one, I got it from the surgeon. |

Any emulsion will contain both water and oil, but an "oil free" product will have more water than oil.
Here is the ingredient list, it seems from the information on the link below that it's perfect for what your needs are.

INGREDIENTS
BIAFINE® contains purified water, liquid paraffin, ethylene glycol monostearate, stearic acid, propylene glycol, paraffin wax, squalane, avocado oil, trolamine/sodium alginate, triethanolamine, cetyl palmitate, methylparaben (sodium salt), sorbic acid (potassium salt), propylparaben (sodium salt), and fragrance. |

I'm thrilled you have had great results and no problems with Biafine, AnnieR. Do you break out easily? |

You are welcome Skitahoe, if you check on the link it's used for medical reasons including burns to protect the skin while healing. It is much higher in water than oils, Aquaphor is heavy with petroleum jelly and that might be the cause of breakouts for you. |

| Its oil free and also good for using after skin burn that is too good for Skin burn and emulsion is very much good during these days |
