Hello Gang,
Well, I am slowly building up my arsenal of gadgets! I have the Tua Viso and placed a bid on Ebay for the Safetox.

I know there are people using both gadgets, but I couldn't find a straight answer: Is Safetox compatible with Tua Viso and/or facial exercises?

If Safetox relaxes facial muscls and TV/exercises strengthen them, do they cancel each other out?

Thanks for any insight!

If you look at the Safetox thread, you will see that I sent Kevin at Safetox that question, and we are still awaiting answers. I'll send him a reminder.

I personally don't see anything wrong with relaxing a muscle, and building a muscle at the same time. It doesn't seem that safetox is designed to atrophy muscles (could be wrong... and if it is, then I would say they are counter productive.)

I would cross reference to other parts of the body... like your back... Tight clenched up muscles offer pain in your back and head. I don't think anyone would recommend that you slacken you muscle strength. Instead, you would have the knots worked out. The muscles stretched and relaxed... and simultaneously strong!

Same with your ham strings. You probably wouldn't suggest with low back pain to decrease muscle mass in the hams or glutes... but rather to stretch and relax those musucles... while maintaining strength...

I feel this is the same with facial muscles. Some people are chronic frowners. They are working a group of muscles 24/7... in addition to frown lines that make them look angry, they can often experience pain from all the constant tension.

Others may overly engage their triangularis, and pull their lips into a perpetually sad/depressed expression.

Both of these can obviously be treated with botox. Paralyze the muscle, and the offending expression can be eliminated... and so too can the fullness that is associated with youth.

Based on what I've read, as I have not experienced usage with the Safetox... It seems quite intuitive that if you can relax a muscle, as well as maintain it's fullness, you get the best of both worlds...

I personally would experiment with this....
