I am looking for a new brand. I have used the entire box of my Dr. Ohhira brand and now would like to try a different brand. Anyone have any suggestions?

The one my son's gastroenterologist put him on is called FloraQ it's OTC but behind the pharmacy counter and a bit pricey. It is a really good one though!

I've been taking an NSI one from Vitacost
http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Probiotic-15-35

Seems to help with bloating, I think, but have also been taking an NSI digestive enzyme, so it could be either product or perhaps just luck ??

Was just talking to an Australian friend, who mentioned he couldn't get his usual Australian probiotics sent here as it needs to be kept refrigerated. I've only bought from US websites, in capsule form. Not sure what these refrigerated Australian probiotics are or what the difference is, but my friend seemed to think they were effective (I didn't ask what was his purpose in taking them). Kind of got my interest though, as I hadn't heard of refrigerated probiotics Question

Thanks all for the recommendation. I will check them all out. I also want to get some digestive enzymes to take along with the probiotics.

Mogulicious, that sounds great on the flattening of the tummy! It would definitely be an bonus side effect for me!

I use R Garden Inner Garden Flora - it doesn't have milk or lactose, and contains no wheat or corn. I am allergic to all of those things (sigh) and it is really hard to find supplements that don't have at least one of them. They are also a little less expensive than most.

I was taking one from Swiss Kriss. It has to be refridgerated. As it is a supplement, I would forget sometimes. It is in the fridge (out of site) and this one needs to be taken with food.
It is worth it though when I remember. I started with probotics when I had to take a round of antibotics years ago and felt better.

I received a coupon for a free package of Danone DanActive drinks. (I am a BzzAgent.) These are very tasty, only 80 calories and a whole days worth are in one bottle. Each bottle contains 10 billion L.casei friendly bacteria.

Just a suggestion for those who do not want or do not remember to take supplements.
