I used this for about a month and a half while travelling last year. Someone just asked a question about Z.Bigatti products in another thread so I thought I'd finally write a review of this. The review might be premature as I'm still on the fence about it - mainly due to texture and smell - and I still have some left (though I am not currently using it). On the other hand, I have been known to remain on the fence about products for quite some time, so I shall update this if I finally fall off and decide
Ok, this is a pale yellowy cream that has a pretty deceiving texture. When I dip my finger into it I get the impression that it's going to be a pretty light cream, but this turns out to be quite emollient. So much so that the first few times I used this I definitely applied too much and hated it because it sat on my skin like an oily film. When I finally figured out that you only need a *tiny* amount of this my opinion of this improved. I have used this all over the eye area (including eye lids) and have not had any puffiness (D'oh! I just realised I've been spelling "puffiness" wrong the last few weeks ). In fact, it feels like it's kind of pulling the eye area together so I'd say it's actually pretty good at reducing puffiness and maybe firming over a longer period of time. I do not have any wrinkles so I cannot comment on how this works in that respect, but I can say that this moisturises well - I used this through most of my Europe trip in December (read: cold outside, dry indoors) last year and had no complaints. I am also happy to see vitamin E, grape seed and green tea extracts in it - known antioxidants; as well as vitamin A (although these are further down the ingredient list). What DOES confuse me in terms of ingredients (pls see list below) is the listing of Cyclic Hydroxy followed by Hyaluronic Acid. I was under the impression that Cyclic Hydroxy *is* Hyaluronic Acid - but why would they list them separately? Could some cleud-in person please shed some light?

Another dislike for me is the scent of the cream - it's very light but faintly chemical - as I tend to like somewhat nice smelling creams, though not overly fragranced. I also prefer creams in a tube or a pump, rather than an un-hygienic jar.
Overall, this certainly didn't have the same "WOW" factor as the Cellcosmet cream had when I first tried it, but it was good once I realised that I was using too much of it. I'm pretty sure I bought the full size of the Cellcosmet before I even finished my sample, whereas I'm still on the fence about this, so I guess that says something. I would love to hear from someone who has used this on a regular basis, in particular in terms of its capability (or maybe lack of) to help with wrinkles as this seems to be its main advertised target. |

Mabsy - do you have dark circles under your eyes? Did this do anything for that? |

You know, I am not sure. Let me give you the full story...
I don't have problems with dark circles anymore unless I am sleep deprived or sick. Any type of sinus congestion usually makes my under-eye area look worse. About a week after I left Australia on my trip last year I got very sick. So much so that my face was a bit swollen and painful from all the sinus issues. I also had really bad jet lag. Now, in all of this time I actually didn't have any problems with dark circles. In fact, I look at my holiday snaps and can't even tell that I was sick! So, I have a feeling that it might have helped *but* at the same time, I cannot say that for sure because there might be other reasons for the lack of dark circles as well. I hope that helps a bit though I realise that's not exactly what you wanted to hear |

Ok Mabsy you've made the thinker in me come out And add to the fact that I love ingredient lists I just had to try and figure your question. Well, I didn't figure it out --I only hypothesized. I can concure that cyclic hydroxy is relatively the same as HA (at least this is what I read). BUT, here is some food for thought. Sodium Hyaluronate is sometimes misconstreud(sp) as HA when in actuality it is the sodium salt of HA. They both have similiar abilities/affects but yet their chemical structure is different. Perhaps this is the same with cyclic hydroxy and HA. As to why they both are listed on the ingredient label, I can only summize that because they "chemically" are two different ingredients legally the manufacturer can do this. Make sense? Or am I just loco? |

Oh I wanted to mention that the eye cream does sound lovely (ingredient list is great)! I know what you mean by the "WOW" factor though--Cellcosmet did that to me too and I'm talking my wallet --no, no, JK, loved the eye cream!
With the ZB eye cream did you find any milia popping up??
TIA!! |

Lifeplyr01 - your explanation sounds good! I was thinking that surely there must be a reason and it could be at the chemical structure. Yes, I was impressed by the ingredient list as well but the "wow" factor was still missing....
No millia
I am using Juvedical now but I will actually go back to finish this off. |

Dear All,
I ordered this cream already and cannot await it's arrival - I'll come back with my feedback then (I have wrinkles and occasional puffyness, but no dark circles). |

I tried the Eye Cream last night and this morning. It's not as moisturized as Juvedical or MD Formulation Vit-A Plus Eye Cream. When I use these two eye creams (seperately, of course) at night, the next morning my under eye areas were very hydrated / moisturized and my fine lines faded about 70%. But Juvedical helped my puffy eyes and MDF gave me puffyyyyyyyyyyyyER eyes. I'll use it for the rest of this week to see if I got consistent result.

MACrisis - how did you go with this?
peace of mind - It's an expensive eye cream. I suggest that if you want to try it then you should get a sample. Next time you order something from EDS just make a note in the comments field that you would like a sample if they have one in stock. |

Definitely it's not rich enough for me. When I put it on my under eye seemed moisturized but the next morning all my fine lines came out having a party!!! Go back to my Juvedical now!!! I should listen to you Mabsy!! |

I'm back again, as promised. Here comes my pre-review after using the cream ca. a week but I'd like to come back after a month again as I believe those few days are not enough to have a complete result.
I liked the texture immedietely : it's creamy and silky but not too heavy. Mabsy was right with the chemical scent but I have a good feeling about (it's not bothering and disappears quickly so you don't have to live with it).
Unfortunately I cannot see any result for my crow feets yet but probably it's not really possible after such a short time of using. Though it helps against the puffiness I fight every morning (I keep the cream in the fridge).
Overall, I'm quite happy with it for now, will use it nicely 2x a day & let you know in few weeks wether I'm going to reorder it (or better try juvedical, as everybody is so happy with it . . .).
Anyway, I also bought the champagne cleanser, silky toner and re-storation cream - girls, anybody interested in my opinion about them?
love,

Thank you very much lin23 - I look forward to your update on this. And to answer your other question - I'd love to hear your opinion on the other products. I think I have samples of those somewhere and have already reviewed the cleansers (I think). |

Thanks Mabsy. I very much appreciate the reviews here, I guess I wouldn't buy anything anymore without checking them first. I specially like yours: they're clear & detailed.
Back to z.bigatti - the cleanser first:
a champagne coloured, slightly "slippery-slimy" gel, with a chemical (but not unpleasant) scent. You have to apply it on the wet face and wash it up with water. All that wouldn't bother me, but it dried out my skin completely so I'm most probably not going to use it anymore. the plus : had no eruptions or redness, any negative reaction (which is very often the case, when I try something new . . .). I'm going to continue cleansing with OCM (my beloved eve lom!)
the silky toner : a very pale pink fluid, with practically no scent. I'd like to spray it on my face but unfortunately there is no pump-equipment on the bottle. also seems to be very aggessive to eyes, which is a problem for me. I'll use it off but most probably won't repurchase. (no irritations either)
The re-storation treatment is a pale beige-cream, with a nice, not heavy texture. putting it on you'll have a bit sticky feeeling, which disappears after 3-4 minutes. Mabsy wouldn't like it as it has a quite strong chemical scent (which also disappears quickly). it's one of the very few creams in my long cosmetic history which doesn't cause any skin-irritation (I mean not the slightest one, nothing!). keeps you moisturized the whole day (no oily feeling, very natural) and I'm specially happy to use the same cream am & pm (just 1 very expensive treatment instead of using 2 expensive ones . . .). Unfortunately, sofar I couldn't notice any "anti-aging", however I guess my pores are a tiny bit smaller and my skin is more toned. There is no real "wow-effect" yet but I'll update you after few weeks again.
love,

Ok, looks like I'm trying the restoration treatment next. At least I know what to expect scent wise
Btw, I tried their Purify Hydrating Lotion Cleanser and found that to be very nice. Good makeup removal and no stinging around the eye area. |

Oh yes, the PHL Cleanser would be the right one for me then ! already put on the list called "next order" . . .
BTW, are you the opinion that you should more or less use a regime with one product line, or it's perfectly o.k. to criss-cross whatever comes in your hand ? |

I'm all for criss-crossing in general My "strategy" is to pick the best products from various lines and put them together. |

So, I'm back again Ladies, as promised. I've used Bigatti for ca. 4 weeks now which should be enough to see the results&effects - on the other hand I stop using it and change to ISC, so there won't be any more results !
In short: I won't repurchase the eye-cream : made me wake up with huge bags under my eyes (before was puffiness ocassional problem only). I had the feeling that after the moisturizing effect has gone (which lasted few hours only, so I had to recream several times a day) my wrinkles were even deeper, more visible. I might do something wrong, but bigatti's eye cream definitely didn't work for me.
The restaration treatment (for face) though was nice. It wasn't a real wow but I could imagine it as my daily moisturizer. I was very consequent with OCM and bigatti - (otherwise I can get a bit lazy ...) - because I was curious if the regular use will show some effects : my skin became more even, no new break outs&acne, slightly smaller pores. I'm not sure it's the effect of bigatti, more the OCM (let's be fair: probably of both). But overall, it's a nice comfy cream, moisturizing all day. Could be a repurchase. |
