Neutrogena Acne Wash... orange face wash, found in pretty much all drugstores, Wal Mart, etc. Very effective.

Mario badescu has a "body toner" for acne with sulfur, alcohol nd medicated stuff.
It works very well, I just got a small sample and thought it worked well.

But they have a face verison too,I liked that one a bit more.

It's called Lotions C or something.
it is under $20 to buy.

Ok, now this one will sound a little weird, but my son has bad back-acne. I looked for solutions a while back and one that came up over and over was to use Head and Shoulders Classic shampoo on your back. You need to leave it on for 5-10 minutes.

Probably becaause the shampoo has zinc and also exfoliating stuff?
I guess in theory it could work.

I tried a sample of this and thought it was good, their body toner smelled too strong for me and I just like this one better.

it's from Mario Badescu (one of my favorite lines right now)

Wow! I have to question some of the advice offered! Has anyone actually had acne? If so, I can guarantee that you would not recommend such products. First of all, do you get acne on your back/chest from sweating or working out? If not, then its 100% internal. One thing that works is taking 3,000mg of Evening Primrose oil for a long period of time, or having your hormones checked to make sure that they are balanced. If your body produces extra testosterone you may be susceptible to this problem. My older sister has had this problem for YEARS, and she said that the only thing that actually works is sitting in the sun outside or indoor tanning. She said that all topical products actually made it worse. Nevertheless, it may be wise to go to your doctor to get your hormones tested, and get some extra sun. However, if its related to working out, then you need to make sure you shower asap after running or going to the gym (my younger sister found this to be the case).
