Hi,
I wanted to share with you my experience with this product. I have had an on going issue with discoloration for several years. Each time I thought I had it licked, I didn't. I thought lactic acid was doing it, but all it did was make me peel, leaving the discoloration behind. I thought Obagi was doing the trick, but all it did was make me turn very dark where my skin wanted to peel and didn't. I never used glycolic because the few times I tried, it stung. BTW, this whole issue was sarted by TCA 12.5%. Very light, but not for me.
I ordered some glycolic from a popular online site. 40%. I didn't use it, still working with the lactic acid, and I ordered from wiz oz kansas 50% and 70%. I actually ordered it for my body.
I got to the point where I had nothing to lose. It didn't matter if what I tried made it worse because I looked so horrible. (Tons of horrible makeup that made me look like a scary movie, but still better then what I looked like)
So I tried the 40% glycolic. It stung but it looked a little better. So I tried it again the next week. No, not my imagination. It's better. So now I'm interested and I try the wiz oz. Although it was buffered, it did the job. So then I decided to try the 70%. It's not buffered. I was a little scaqre. Maybe a lot scared, but I tried it. And low and behold, it wasn't as stingy as the other' company's 40%.
So for the last 6 weeks I have been using 70% glycolic from Wix Oz Kansas once a week. Before I use it I use my Obagi, and after I use it I start back on the Obagi. It's the retinA and the blender that really do the trick. And today I have to say that my face looks unbelieveable. I'm not quite finished, but It looks so good. And I attribute it to the quality of the glycolic at this company. And that's what I wanted to share. All glycolic is not the same.
I don't work for them, I'm not involved witht hem in any way. I did send them an email to thank them. But I have gotten tons of informatin from forums just like this, and I wanted to share. Take care |

I just saw this, jackiet_mcc. Great review. How long are you leaving the 70% GA on your skin weekly? And, do you start the Blender/Retin A immediately back up the next day after the GA peel? I am doing something similar, and you are right there is a huge difference between companies peel products. Glad you found something that is working great for you! |
