Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, Obagi Clear, or NIA24 Sun Damage Repair for Decolletage and Hands. Obagi will likley be the most effective. |

Hi Molly,
Another effective treatment for brown spots on your hands or face is a series of IPL treatments. Sometimes one will be all you need but many times you may need 2-3.
Kristy's right as well. You could try some of the Obagi Nuderm products. Obagi Clear has 4% hydroquinone which does help with hyperpigmentation.
Above all, you must, must ,must use a sunscreen on your hands!
P.S. Welcome to the forum! |

I used Retin-A + HQ for a month and then did an at-home medium depth peel. Then another month, then another peel and... voila! They were gone. |

Josee what type of peel did you use? I just have a few freckles on my hands but hate them! I've been treating my hands like my face for the past month, c serum then nia24 plus ss during the day, retin A at night, they are better but still there... |

Hi, I used Jessner and then put TCA 35% (or 30%, can't remember). I used it until I got an even frosting.
I got everything from MUAC: http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/index.php?
for the first peel, and then the second time I got the stuff from a friend |

Josee, did you notice any difference in the peels from MUAC and the one you got from a friend? |

You can buy the products from your dermatologist, at a medical spa, or on various websites (including this one). |

Retin A is a Rx product here in the states so wuold assume it is similar there. Try your dermatologist. Alternatively, you can buy online from an overseas pharmacy for super cheap ($3-$5/tube vs the $50 tube around here) without a prescription. I got mine from alldaychemist.com. Shipping is $25 though so you should maximize order by buying lots of it and other meds you might need. I ordered Retin A and generic latisse (eyelash enhancer) for myself and a friend. Since it's so cheap, you can buy multiple tubes of all different strengths, then start off at the lowest and move up depending how you tolerate. Use it on your face for additional benefit. |
