They say soap hurt your skin, powder block the pores, face cream and foaming cleanser doesn't clean enough?
So which on earth is best choise for what type of skin? |

Most soaps has always been a disaster for my skin (although I am trying the Wonderbar right now, but it's not exactly soap). It leaves a film and dries it out horribly. So it's a no-go for me.
By powder, do you mean powdered cleanser that you mix with water and it turns into a foam? I've used a few of those and haven't been that impressed.
Foaming or liquid cleanser has always been my best bet, used with either a Clarisonic or washcloth. There are so many options out there and I've found that every one I've tried except Cetaphil has gotten all of my makeup off.
If you have dry skin, I'd avoid gel-type foaming cleansers, however. They can really wreak havoc. |

Hmmmmmm,
I actually like a bunch of different products.
I actually change what soaps and face things I use every week or 2 and go between a few lines that work for me.
I probably have 5? diferent face cleansers.
but lately my skin is sensitive (had badly scraped face), so not using any AHA or scrubby things..just a cream cleanser, alcohol free toner, face stuff.
I like mineral makeup though..works well for me.
I also like to try samples of stuff before deciding,I figure that way I won't have to bother returning something that sucks or disagrees with me.
Also, almost everyone has a different oppinion of "what is best"
I know I've tried asking so many people I know and even doctors have different oppinions on what is best.
I think that is why EDS sells more than 5,000 items:)
I have also seen websites that have 10,000 different skincare items so it can be hard to chose stuff sometimes. |

I agree. Most of the time you can see whether something suits you only after trying it by yourself. |

Sometimes I wonder if the Dryness feeling after certain cleasers the RIGHT feeling to have after CLEANING your face. You know for a cleaser what we want most is to clean off the serum and dust. And we'll surely apply toner and moisturizer afterwards. So as long as they don't cause our skin to peel or go red, why should we care things other than cleaning?
Don't know if I got the point. |
