Well I can definitely vouch for the HF device and it's ability to produce lymphatic drainage. I always wake up very puffy. I ran the device over my face and neck for a few minutes and my throat became full of fluid and I started coughing. Has anybody else ever felt this sensation when using the HF device? |

I haven't had the coughing thing but I am trying to do the Japanese lymph technique with the mushroom wand. Certainly sounds very effective for you! |

The HF treatments really dry out my face. I can see pieces of dry skin everywhere when I am finished using it. I will definitely be applying lotion before I use it in the future. Only thing that might pose a problem is if you want to use it for product penetration. Wouldn't you need to use it on bare skin first? Or can it help the product penetrate into your skin if you apply it before doing a treatment? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. |

I don't have a problem with the device drying out my skin. However, if you want to use a cream first, I don't see how the device would impact on penetration. I would imagine that any heat or increased blood flow would help with product penetration - but I'm just surmising. |

Hi Keliu, In all the articles I've read about HF treatments, they always mention that it helps with product penetration. I was wondering if the product can be applied before or after in order for the HF to help with penetration. Also, I still wonder why Tonya Zavasta says not to use the device around your eyes. I have been doing this and hope it can not cause any harm. Thanks. |

If all the articles say it helps with product penetration, just apply the product first. In the study you posted previously, it says the device helps with eye puffiness - so the device must have been used around the eyes. I have been treating my eye area since I started and have not noticed any ill effects. Just use a low setting if you're concerned.
However, I think you are worrying unnecessarily - just listen to your skin and let it guide you on how you use the device. I'm sure that you're not going to do yourself any harm. |

I do think the HF device helps with product penetration. I'm having to use more serum when I put it on after a treatment.
I do not have dry skin but if I use the device right after I've washed my face, it does not like to slide very well. If I wait awhile, it slides much better.
Overall, I'm liking it so far. It helps get rid of the pimples that come up after I use the Wonderbar and I have to agree with Keliu that it gives my skin a refined look. |

I'm so getting one of these but after vacation (so in the fall). Of course my husband just said to me how we have to "buckle down" but I can justify it by saying how I never buy shoes or pocketbooks. |

Patrackmack - how is the dryness going? Are you using the device over moisturiser now? If so, has the dryness improved? |

This gadget looks SUPER interesting to me
What are you seeing with regard to your skin other than the pores getting smaller, and a lovely glowly thing?
Is it helping with wrinkles/collagen etc?
I was actually thinking of getting an ultrasound, but this looks like it does something similar and has other bonuses. |

Hi Keliu, I don't get too much dryness anymore. I am still using it on dry skin and then I apply my Environ Skincare product after it. I did a roll a month ago and am trying to replicate Dr. Fernandes protocol by using the products he recommends. Of course, I know I don't need to use them. They do seem to be pretty good products though. For some reason I think if you are going after product penetration you would use the HF first then apply your product. |

I think Environ are excellent products. I get quite a bit of peeling after a dermaroll - so that might have been contributing to your dryness too.
Neondaze - I'm not prepared to say that any gadget I use helps with wrinkles and collagen - I just live in hope! But compared to many women my age, my wrinkles aren't too bad - it's sagging that is my main issue.
There are studies that say that HF does regenerate collagen and elastin - but I think of HF as mainly a healing device. I know for a fact that it does this. So, if it has healing properties, then it makes sense to me that it has got to be good for the skin. Do some reading on Ozone Therapy - it's all very interesting. |

Fair call! Thanks for the level headedness!
I will go and do some googling on ozone therapy. Everything I've read so far is super interesting.
Thanks! |

I've actually stopped using my LED and Vaculifter since I started HF, because I think it does a better job with wrinkles and smoothness than they did combined. I only wish the HF helped with sagging. I've also started running the HF through my hair because I read that it helps darken gray hair.
I've slowly been increasing the intensity but I wonder what the benefits are to using it at the highest setting. |

I only know one setting - high! I haven't had any mishaps from using the high setting all the time - but sometimes I think I have elephant skin, because nothing seems to happen to me.
I'm also using the comb attachment every night - basically because it's supposed to stimulate hair growth. I'm not sure how this would work. My understanding is that we're born with a certain amount of hair follicles and that's it. But maybe the ozone therapy effects all the hair follicles at once which makes the hair seem thicker - I don't know, I'm just guessing. Anyway, my hair does seem to have a bit more body to it - I have absolutely fine baby hair which is the bane of my life.
Skippie, I'm glad you're liking the results from HF as much as me! |

When I am stressed I lose a lot of hair. The skin on my scalp is so tight that I can barely budge it and I would imagine the circulation is nil.
From my understanding of the HF, by increasing the circulation it would encourage the hair regrowth. This is what I expect for me. I also have very fine hair so can't afford the hair loss. I haven't had it long enough to see any results but I'm sure they are coming.
I use it on high for the entire scalp and neck. It tingles and itches fiercely for several minutes after the treatment. I think this is a good thing - at least I know it's stirring things up.
I've also read that the higher the frequency the higher the ozone - thus more healing properties. If the smell is any indication I would have to agree!
I'm only using this and the microdermabrasion machine at present so I can be aware of any improvements. I have Keliu's enthusiasm to thank for both of the purchases! |

skippie - and I thought you were going to embrace all that gray hair.
I've been running the hair attachment thru my hair and think I see some definitely positive things going on. For one, my hair seems shinier. It also holds its style longer. I tend to need to touch things up after sleeping on it for a night, but lately - it looks GOOD the next day with no touchup needed. I think it also fluffs my hair a bit, and that might be why it looks good for an extra day.
Another benefit is seeing some hair regrowth on a couple of thinning areas in the upper outer 2 corners. Those spots had very fine hair before and have only started to thin out the last few years. I have seen new growth coming in those spots. And, when I run the wand over those areas, I can feel more tingleing going on than in thicker-hair spots.
I am also hoping for a bit less gray hair (I'm NOT embracing that). It would be nice to not need to color my roots every 10 days. |

That's such good news Foxe about your hair regrowth! How long have you been using the HF and how often? |

I've been using the Palancia HF device since July 14, twice per day. I use the slender tube for spot treating blemishes and the mushroom attachment for all over my face. I will take that one over those thinning/bald spots in the corners of my forehead. I also use the comb for all over my scalp.
It's really good results for 2 weeks. I also use Folligen lotion there once in a while and they are known for hair regeneration. I haven't used them on a consistent enough basis there to do much of anything, though. I really think it's the HF that's brought on the hair. |

Foxe - Those are incredible results for only two weeks time! I think I'll up my use to a consistent twice a day. I work on my neck and shoulders also (with the comb) on highest power. There I really do notice a difference in any discomfort I might have. |

I wasn't going to post this, because it's too embarrassing - but what the heck, maybe it will help somebody else. I got vaginal thrush, I'm prone to it and usually have the necessary medication on hand. But on this occasion, I did not. So in a fit of complete desperation, I decided to do the unthinkable (after thoroughly researching on the web that this was ok). I put on the narrow probe and placed it where no woman should have to!! The next morning, all itching and discomfort was gone - a complete cure!!!
I am more convinced than ever that ozone therapy works. Sorry if I've now placed an unforgettable picture in your minds!!! |

I say whatever works - go for it!! BUT - I probably would not buy a used HF device now. |
