Hi Keliu, did the peach fuzz came after the HF use or did you have it before as well? I am seriously considering buying the palacia for more hair on my scalp....thank you |
No, the peach fuzz was there before starting the HF treatments.
I've also reported that I felt my hair had thickened up a bit from using the HF. I don't think there's anything magical about this - I think it's more due to the old belief of brushing the hair 100 strokes a day - in other words, it's just stimulation of the scalp, in this case by electricity. |

thanks Keliu, well I comb my hair ( regular comb) like well over 100 times a day.. I was hoping that HF would be different... I still want to get it for it's other benefits as well... |

I did go on ebay but I did not find jellen or palacia.. do you know if you got the real thing? Once I bought lancome via ebay and it was fake, like total fake, I got my $ back after I complained about it... since then,I have very less faith in ebay.... I trust amazon.com though...

My Jellen instruction booklet doesn't have any specs listed and there isn't any oscillation rate on the unit itself. |

so I placed on order for Palacia... Jellen never replied to my e-mails but I got hold of someone via their live chat and she said that the oscillation is somewhere between 200,000 to 250, 000 and palacia says 200,000+, so I am sure it's the same, also both are made in Taiwan..
I liked Palacia customer service better as they have a phone line to call but jellen's phone line is only if you want to place an order.. The palacia lady also gave me 10% off coupon, HF10 , and the shipping was free too! |

I believe it's best to avoid the thyroid area with all electrical devices - just to be on the safe side. |

| So I just bought the Palacia UC-3500 Professional Grade Portable High Frequency Machine. It's my first purchase of a skincare device and I trust the judgment of those of you who recommended HF and have posted thoughtful comments in this thread and whose opinion I value (I've lurked on EDS before joining and feel as if I know some of you). It's funny though that all the reviews for this and for the other, more expensive HF device on the Palacia site were posted on the same date of September 21, 2011 and they're all 4 or 5 stars. The reviews sure fit the criteria for paid reviews just like in the articles I've been reading about this subject. Now I'm wondering why Palacia would pay for reviews unless the device is not all it's cracked up to be. Any insight you can share would be greatly appreciated. - Many thanks. |

Hey everyone, I hope you won't mind me bumping this thread, but recently I have decided to purchase one of these machines. The girl who does my eyebrows is also a facialist and will zap my blemishes with it when I'm in for a brow wax, and it just does amazing things. I'm surprised my DermaWand does nothing while this just dries up my pimples so well.
Anyway, I asked her if I could order one through her or where to order one and she was very casual in her answer and just said, "Oh, just get one off ebay." I need a little more guidance than that.
Hers is a bigger machine and if I got one like that, it would definitely need to be stored in a closet because it's way too big to keep underneath the bathroom sink, but I wonder if bigger is better? I prefer portable, but the DermaWand is portable and a piece of junk (IMHO).
These are the two I was considering (this one resembles the one she has in her salon):

Any opinions on this? I admit I haven't read all 26 pages, but I did read quite a few and am still undecided. TIA for any opinions or advice!
PS - I don't trust the reviews on Jellen or Pallacia, so I'm really flying blind here. I wish they had better return policies. |

| hi TheBaroness. the machine on the link u posted has an oscillation rate of only 20,000, and i believe that the dermawand has 100,000 while palacia and jellen is over 200,000 and it's the oscillation rate which makes this device stronger... so the dermawand ( which u r not happy with ) is stronger than the machine on this link...i would go for palacia, I bought it like almost 2 months ago, it has almost completely drained my constant edema around the jaw line and now my jawline is so sharp! I am also using it on my scalp for hair growth, i am achieving good results but not sure if it's palacia or the tamanu/black seed oi combo , I started using both around the same time... |
