After being involved in the "how to combat grey hair" topic, I think it's interesting to open a new thread on hair darkening that tackles the issue of darkening non grey hair.
Of course without the use of dyes, but really from within. I've read many reports that people got darker hair from melanotan ( worked for me, I just didn't like the needles), but also after using nizoral, copper peptides, resveratrol, msm,forskolin,....
Also in the 'grey hair' darkening topic, somebody mentioned hair darkening of the non-grey hair. I just hope we can have a good discussion |

I use folligen, which contains copper peptides, and the hair regrowth I've seen so far has been dark brown rather than gray. I only use it where my hair is thinning, so have no idea if it would work all over.
The other semi obvious thing is to wear a hat when outdoors. Exposure to lots of sun always lightens my hair. |

I've heard about copper peptides darkening hair, I'm just wondering if you have to buy those expensive products. Maybe you can make your own formula?
I've also read about emu oil being a good penetrator and increasing pigmentation. Maybe a combo would work better? |

Copper peptides haven't made my hair darker, it's the same color it always was, it's just that none of the new hair growth is gray.
I think that emu oil is supposed to be good for both hair and skin, but I haven't heard anything about it making hair darker. |

I have heard emu oil is a good penetrator, maybe combining it with something will darken hair? |

on other forums people using topical forskolin report hair darkening.
I just to know how to make your own formula. Those reports were posted some time ago and the people using it havent replied yet. |
