Ello all,

neurology is fascinating- apart of that is that our brain uses pathways...from the time we are born to the day we die we build new pathways by thinking, and games. However some of the pathways become dormant if you don't keep using them...I've heard that you can improve pathways and keep them healthy and connected by playing brain games.

my personal best example of what I mean by a pathway is "memory skills" or "quick problem solving".

what do you think?

I think its a great idea but...where/what websites should I visit? I tried lumniosity and it was good but after 3 days of trail time it wanted me to pay money...ugh so my question..does anyone know of a wbsite where they have freeee brain games?lol

or know of other ways to exersize and keep the brain healthy/sharp?

Any comments would be appreciated, after a long lazy summer I feel the need to give my brain a work out haha.

I keep seeing ads for this site, but I personally think there are other options like doing crossword puzzles, etc.

Ok thats easy .

To have a healthy brain means you need circulation there.
So exercise(mental and physical) can achieve this.Staying in touch with Nature and dont care or stress so much about things can also help tremendously.See the Sun everyday and walk barefoot in the nature thats another way to keep out the toxins from the extremities in the body.

Learning a new language is a good way to workout your brain.

Here's a good, free website that I use:www.lang-8.com

You can also meet native speakers of other languages on Lang 8.

heyheymonster , I love brainteasers too. I don't know of any websites (I can't remember the link for this riddle site where you moved onto higher levels as you solved the riddles and they got harder. There was even a forum for clues. It was very similar to the Hacker Puzzle: http://puzzlersworld.com/hackerpuzzle/1.html

Anyway, got a brainteaser for you:

Write on a piece of paper a 5x5 letter square using the alphabet, minus the letter Q, where A is in the upper left-hand corner and Z is in the lower right-hand corner. After you have done this, can you tell me which letter comes just above the letter which comes between the letter just before the letter just below B and the letter just before the letter just above Y?
