Hi, I'm in my mid 30s and notice my cheeks are getting a bit droopy...I don't want to get a face lift yet, but would collagen injections help? |

Sorry, I can't answer your original question, but have you tried firming masks and also argireline products? Perhaps argireline in particular might be worth a go (and cheaper) before getting collagen injections... Just thought I'd suggest it if you have not tried/thought about it.

I noticed the same thing but especially that my eye lids seemed to have drooped after a very stressful and illness prone year. I've been using the Gatineau defilift (UK name not sure if its the same elsewhere) eye lift serum and re-defining sermum for face and neck. I use both of these twice a year and have a break once the bottles are finished. I have noticed quite a difference in texture of my skin and also that the elasticity has improved - therfore the face (and eyes) do 'lift'.
i've also used a few of the lifting masks - my favourite is the elemis total lifting mask. |

Ashley103, your way too young to think about anything so invasive!
I totally agree with jools and Mabsy, try lifting serums and lifting Masks before you do anyting so drastic. There are some great ranges around I'm 38 next Monday and have had great results form Elemis - lifting serum & Gatineau Defilift and like jools have to recommend the Elemis total lifting mask (www.timetospa.com). Plus Decleor do a great Vitaroma anti aging range and their Hydortenseur serum for the eyes is FANTASTIC, I use it for a period of 6 weeks and move on to the Gale Hayman total eye lift. There's also a very econmical range in the UK called SBC and they have a collagen gel thats great to use as a face and eye mask, you can even use it under your moisturiser. |

Hi
Try something else first.
Collagen's not nice. It might give you lumps - it did me when I had it around my eyes. And it felt like I had two aliens stuck in my face.
Facial exercises lift the cheeks very quickly and easily in my experience. It may just be tired/sagging muscles and the cheek muscles are some of the biggest in the face and the easiest to build up.
If it's skin damage more than muscle droop then I'd go for the masks.

Thanks for all the advice. I've just noticed a little loss of skin elasticity the past few weeks. I'm most concerned about my cheeks which just hang a little lower, especially when I smile. |
