Friend sent me a link to an eBay vendor with her own line of done-it-herself formulas, some with HA, peptides, EGF, Matrixyl 3000, etc. I was wondering if this was someone from EDS?

Her stuff

If it isn't an EDS member, any opinions on the quality and recipes of the formulas?

They don't look like any recipes from one member? Under the DIY section on the main page there is a recipe index that you could check out! Smile Sorry

I wasn't sure if perhaps this was Dr. Kassy, or CareKate, or someone who participates here in the EDS forums. Thought if it was, I might try a couple products!

I haven't had much time in the last year, sadly, to hang out and read/learn here, let alone run amok ordering too many ingredients and trying to get into DIY yet. Wondered if any of the linked products look good, I think the eye cream does and maybe the marine peptides/growth factor serum...

Ah well.

She doesn't list all the ingredients on ebay, which is a negative for me. Aside from that I'm also wary about buying because I don't know if she formulated the products correctly, or even made them under sterile conditions. It just doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me.

Yes, I wish she would post the entire ingredient list, though it looks like it does come with the product. She does state, however, that "Our products are made in FDA approved facilities, in the USA, with US sourced ingredients. Only medical and cosmetic grade ingredients are used, products are stored in a temperature controlled environment, and are guaranteed fresh."

Maybe I'll spring for one of the least costly items and see what I can find out. Wink (Sadly, that won't be the eye cream, which looks promising: It has Matrixyl 3000 & Marine Peptides, MAP, EGF, Hesperidin, Glutathione, Tocotrienol, ALA and who knows what else.)

I have a feeling these are private label products. I looked at "her" lightening mask, and found 3 other sites selling the exact same thing.

Maybe you could type the ingredients of the product you want into google and see what you come up with. At least you could check the prices to see where it is cheaper.

Thanks, Rileygirl, I hadn't thought of that. Now the more links I click, the more interesting and intermingled it gets! Laughing

LOL Yeah, There are a load of sites that make private label cosmetics and all you do is order and have your name thrown on. Shock
