I am 25 years old
one day I was driving in my car and I looked into the rearview mirror and noticed a crease on the side of my mouth. I panicked and almost slammed into the car in front of me but my reflex was quick so I hit the breaks
soon I found a spot and began to examine this crease and it's not deep or very long it looks like a dent and can be seen mostly under sunlight. On the other side of the corners of my mouth there are very fine lines that look like it comes from smiling. Again you can see them under sunlight or if I am really close to my face inthe bathroom mirror with a certain light on.
I don't know why I have this because I have dark brown skin I am African and I use retin a and wear sunscreen. I never spent much time out in the sun except for driving to work. One summer I barely left the house
I don't know what is causing this I did start to recently use hydroquinone and retin a and I am wondering if it's drying my skin.
I also have a bad habit of never drinking water. I usually drink diet soda and fruit juice.
This has caused me to panic and I wonder if other people can see them especially when I am outside. I feel like crying like my youth is being robbed from me
Can someoene tell me what to do to get rid of this? I am in utter disbelief and sometimes fear looking into the mirror for they may get worse |

What is your current skin care routine? What are you using to moisturize?
You may be dehydrated with the use of retin-a and not drinking enough water. |

I was using hq4% a sunscreen
then I was applying retin a .1% from alldaychemist every night
I feel like the retin a may have something to do with it |

At first I wasn't using anything then when i saw that crease I started using cetaphil moisturizer and vitamin e oil but I feel it doesn't eliminate them
maybe I need to stop the retin a? |
